The site is in an excellent position for exploring the wonderful Suffolk coast. Good localish pub (The Fox). Friendly staff. I think it would benefit from more toilets, slightly wider hardstanding pitches and most certainly the construction of a second waste disposal point for chemical toilets. The grass pitches are huge.Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.
We had not been away with the caravan since our last visit to Haw Wood Farm Caravan park back in June 2024 due to medical reasons. Having visited this site on sevaral occasions we knew what the site had to offer us. Peaceful and calming surroundings with very friendly and helpful site managers. A tidy well presented site offering very good shower and toilet facilities. As the site had only just opened up again after their 6 week break the shop / cafe was not open but that did not trouble us at all. There is a very handy coffee shop + bakery within 1/2 a mile Easy access to the site from the A12 and within easy reach to either the coast or attractions more in landThank you to both Georgina and Dan. See you again
We come here a lot as our bolt hole, we like coming out of season as its much quieter and we came back for the first time this season. The only comment I would have is that you can be close together with the campers behind you example on the grass field you are literally backing on top of each other. That said the bathrooms are fab even if we could only use the family rooms at front, and the coffee shop was closed. Will be back again! Paula and Shane Waller
Only 4 miles from Dunwich and the Suffolk coast, Haw Wood Farm is an ideal location. Very friendly welcome from host and nice pitch with hook up etc within easy walking distance of facilities. Very clean and warm wet room. Dog walking meadow was great and lots of other walks nearby.
Came here seven years ago and loved it, when we came back it was as if had never left, site is still looking good and facilities are excellent, at the time we went most facilities were closed as it was out of season but nice and quiet and excellent when we sat out drinking hot chocolate star gazing
We stayed here to attend a wedding reception nearby at Bruisyard, it's a lo ely campsite with dark skies, lots of stars and great facilities. A short ride down a quiet lane and you're onto Wolf Way cycling route to explore the East Coast.https://wolfwaysuffolk.com/Highly recommend!
