I stayed at this caravan park many years ago as a child and brought my own family back here this year for the first time and it won’t be the last!

The site is fantastic. We’ve had a lovely stay at Milton of Fonab and can honestly see why it’s such a popular site.

The location is fantastic too — close enough to walk into Pitlochry, but far enough out that you still feel like you’re away from the hustle and bustle. The best of both worlds! 🌿

The site is beautifully clean and well maintained, with a lovely large grass area where the kids can run around and play while the adults can sit back and relax.

We were fortunate enough to have a fully serviced touring pitch beside the static caravans, which was really convenient. There’s also a vast touring area with both fully serviced and non-serviced pitches, so there’s plenty of choice depending on what you’re looking for.

The shower blocks and toilets deserve a special mention — spotlessly clean, which always makes such a diffe...Read less.

The site is spotless, including the toilets. The little shop on site is just perfect for picking up bits and pieces one might need, including ice cream on a hot day!

It also has one of the best stocked shops on a site I think I've ever come across so far. Site fabulously situated, close to Pitlochry Festival Theatre and a picturesque short walk into Pitlochry itself. Dog friendly. Lots of great walks close by. Will definitely be returning but for longer next time as there is lots more to explore....Read less.

Really enjoyed our visit to Milton of Fonab. Our “without awning” pitch was quite small but the grass was beautifully maintained and there were substantially larger pitches elsewhere on the site (typically full service pitches). Toilets are modern and clean.

Pedestrian access to the centre of town is good. A roughly 15 minute walk through quiet streets and over the pretty pedestrian suspension bridge and the festival theatre is only 5 minutes from the campsite...Read less.

There is everything you could need here and the staff are very helpful and friendly, dealing brilliantly with unusual requests and needs. This is a wonderful site within a 10-15 minute walk of Pitlochry centre (with loads of lovely shops, bars and restaurants) and the Festival Theatre and dam/salmon ladder....Read less.

There’s also separate toilets. The pitches are immaculate and well kept, nice and flat. Grass is cut on a daily basis. The wee shop is just perfect for everyday essentials. There’s a lovely wee restaurant next to the river just 5 minute walk from the site and the main high street is a lovely 10 minute walk across the bridge. Had a fantastic stay at this site. Easy walkable distance to a very beautiful town. Buzzing with all nationalities of tourists. Lovely walks, Highland night with pipe band and dancers. The town had a small theatre which I didn’t manage to get to this time but went to on a previous visit and was very good. You must visit the impressive damn. It’s a short walk from the caravan site but well worth a visit. Enjoyed the excellent restaurants and Hetties tearooms is a must for a coffee and delicious cakes.

The campsite is one of the best we have ever been to . Will definitely be back....Read less.

Local town is around 10-15 minutes walk, you can take different scenic walks into town centre. Lots of local shops.

This was our first visit to this site and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The site is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and each pitch is generously sized, giving everyone plenty of space.

I was particularly pleased to see an accessible shower and bathroom for guests who require additional support with washing and bathing. The only issue we experienced was that the hot water in the shower didn’t last long enough. For anyone who needs assistance with showering or washing their hair, this can make it very difficult to remain independent and may mean they require ongoing help simply because the hot water runs out too quickly.

Other than perhaps extending the hot water time or, in the future, providing a second accessible bathing facility, I genuinely have no complaints.

We’ll definitely be back. Those small improvements would simply be the icing on the cake for what is already a fantastic site

The ladies showers and toilet area were lovely and clean but partner thought it was difficult to get dressed with the floor being wet with the open shower. We stopped at the nearby House of Bruar and Bruar Falls and had a lovely meal at the Old Mill in Pitlochry , which is a short walk from the site. Milton is an excellent campsite.

It's spotlessly clean, you aren't crammed in, the wifi is good, its a nice walk into Pitlochry

Myself, my Wife and elderly Father in Law, stayed at Milton of Fonab caravan park in a two bedroom caravan which surprisingly contained two bathrooms. On entering the caravan park, we were quite taken aback by the general appearance of the site. Lots of space, extremely tidy with well manicured grassed areas making it safe for children to play. The static caravans were well spaced out with parking alongside each one. There were also lots of mobile homes which also seemed well spaced and tidy, also with parking spaces for cars. The site itself is within walking distance of Pitlochry but does have a short uphill section which would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues but is only a couple of minutes drive so no real problems. Over all, I would have no hesitation of using this park again when visiting Pitlochry or surrounding area....Read less.

Great break at Milton of Fonab. The caravan park is quiet and a good sleep was had by all. All families and friends and no rowdy parties and everyone is very respectful. It was good to see kids out playing in the grassy area rather than on phones and tablets.

Good location for pitlochry walks and only 15 minutes to centre of town. Two good meals at wee choo choo and fern cottage.

Lady in the office/ shop was very helpful, polite and friendly.

The static caravans are well maintained and a pleasure to stay in.

The caravan site is in the most picturesque of settings.

The site is well maintained with a large green area in the middle which is perfect if children want to run round and play.

There are a lot of facilities on site.

Staff are lovely. Communication is excellent.

Pitlochry on your doorstep.

Time here is so relaxed and chilled.

Perfect to switch off and enjoy your holiday.

Staff are lovely and very approachable. The dog walk is part grass, part paved, though a bit short, however there is a big grassy area immediately outside the site. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the road one way, once you drive over the bridge. Its a tight corner at the toilet block if you are towing a caravan and meet a motorhome or 2 on their way out. Other than that, it's a great wee site, and perfect for a relaxing break or as a base for visiting the surrounding area....Read less.
