This is a great campsite with a lovely short walk over the bridge to the town centre. The park is especially clean and tidy with great staff to guide you in whatever you are doing, ie Fishing, walking or just having a chill day. Easy access to Pitlochry including the nearby Distillery and then a short walk to the Theatre and over the bridge that way.

Robertson's whisky was a highlight me as was the distillery.

Communication from the campsite was excellent. We didn't see any staff but the site is clean and tidy. Showers and toilets were clean.

New Tesco beeing built nearby too.

The site were kind enough to give me a credit from when I cancelled last year and they manage to re let my space so i thought that was very generous.

"Return to our happy place"

Milton of Fonab remains the peaceful, well run and maintained caravan park that we have experienced across nearly 40 years of married life. We treasure that it continues to feel like a very family run and focused destination at a time when so many parks feel very commercial and impersonal. The caravans are continually updated and are to be found clean and in good repair. The surroundings are kept immaculate and staff, in and out, are always welcoming and accessible. Whilst caravan facilities meet all needs the additional toilet and laundry facilities are always available. Whilst we have not travelled throughout the world, we have holidayed in many countries. Milton of Fonab remains our favourite and most happy place. Be back soon....Read less.

Excellent site, good location, peaceful, very neat and tidy. The showers were great, although they were the push button type, but the water was hot and plentiful. The only thing that would have made it absolutely top notch would have been better wifi. Although I could connect to it sometimes, that was about all I could do. However, I appreciate that not everyone needs wifi connectivity on their holiday....Read less.

We love this site! Beautiful surroundings and views when you arrive, very friendly staff in arrival to check you in. Pitlochry is just short of a mile away so is very walkable which is great :) the facilties and so clean and a good number of showers, always so clean. Good space between each pitch aswell.

This caravan park is superb and the grounds are excellently maintained and the toilet facilities spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the proximity of the site to the town centre as we have a campervan and like to be able to walk from the site.

The scenery is lovely and we found the Fish Ladder extremely interesting.

We experienced traffic work around the site whivh made getting there difficult over a narrowed bridge. Site is situated between a refuse tip and an A road so depending on wind you can get noise or......Read more.

Missing bins in the area nearest to us so needed to go on a huny for others, not sure the reason for this.

Shower block was clean and seems like plenty of units in the time we were there, May.

Site was quiet at our visit and we had bunnies come and visit....Read less.

The only thing was the constant drone of grass cutting from morning until late afternoonseemed ebery day🤣 apologies if thus was them just catching up. Site was within walking distance of Pitlochry town centre and lots of visitor attractions. Site itself was a good size with friendly receptionist and all facilities were spotless. Female shower and toilet block was fantastic with 3 toilets and 7 wet walled toilet/shower cubicles. Male shower and toilet facilities were less than half the female amount, which meant you had to try visit at quieter times to shower There are other individual toilet/ showers at the other end of the camp but as we were plot 7, the main block was nearer....Read less.

We were contacted by the site the day before our holiday to say we could arrive a bit earlier as our caravan would be ready, which was a lovely start to our holiday. The site was easy to find and very clean and well looked after. We were thrilled with our caravan which was exactly as the pictures on the site, clean and very comfortable. The showers were superb. The site shop had any emergencies and was open till 7pm. The site is a short walk from the high street in Pitlochry which has many restaurants and shops. We walked most days for a number of hours as there are so many lovely walks. We didn't need to use the car for the week as everything is close to hand. Had a lovely afternoon at the putting green with husband which was great fun. We will definitely be back. A memorable relaxing holiday with great facilities...Read less.

We have been here before with our motorhome, but this time decided to stay in one of their statics. Not sure what to expect , but this static was absolutely fantastic. No complaints, our 5 yo grandchild did not want to leave. Clean, well, spotlessly clean, fresh smell, and everything you need. I would have rated Fonab but for one minor thing. Our grandchild wanted a swing or maybe a wee adventure playground, but there is no facility on site. However, that did not spoil our stay. Thank you Fonab, we will return....Read less.

We arrived at the local office and shop , lady we met was very informative about the site , gave us the opportunity of two pitches , both near the disabled toilet , we paid £5 returnable for the key which we got when we left . Have been on the site several times lovely and clean , and shop has a good few items that we needed. They also give a discount to OAP excellent would definitely return again and again . Unit was perfect and the king size room had ample space for travel cot. The park is well maintained and shop well stocked. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pitlochry is a beautiful village just a 5 minute walk from Milton of Fonab with plenty of good restaurants- we ate at Eden Cottage and had takeaways from Mackays and the Indian restaurant- all excellent quality and good value.

Even though the site was full on the weekend we booked it didn’t feel that way. I never had to wait for a shower and the toilet shower combined cubicles are a great idea. The exterior of the block......Read more.

It was a short walk to town and to the pub in the village.

Our only observation was that as we had a Motorhomes the pitch we were on was a little tight to get parked, but only due to some caravans parking their cars at the front of their pitch which made parking up a little awkward, but we managed.

We have been coming here for 30 years approximately and can not fault the whole experience. 3 generations of the same family. The quiet and calm of this park is like nothing we have experienced anywhere else. The mobile homes are spotless and the facilities are perfect . The park has great space for our dogs and our kids to play on their bikes. It’s close to the town centre and walking distance to some beautiful peaceful locations. Shower and WC block new and immaculately clean and practical. Site well laid out and spacious pitches.

Only one small observation about pitch numbering system which may cause confusion as different pitches opposite each other have same pitch number. One is normal pitch and one is a fully serviced pitch. We got caught out by this but all was resolved easily.

Our 2nd visit to the site. Site is clean and tidy, facilities are excellent. Close to Pitlochry a short walk. Fully equipped shop. Quiet with good views. Would certainly recommend.

Lovely site , well looked after with great toilet/ washing facilities. Great location, able to walk to the town along the back road or along the river. Helpful and friendly staff. I would recommend.

Perfect walking distance into Pitlochry and loads of beautiful walks close by.

And until the end of the summer there is a mobile stone fire pizza van every Saturday at the entrance of the park!!...Read less.

"One of our favourite camp sites"

Love this campsite and have been many times. We love that it’s so close to the town and is a nice walk in so we can leave the campervan parked up. There’s plenty of things to do in the area and lovely views. Yes, you can hear the traffic noise from the A9 but it’s still very peaceful. Easy to access from the A9 both ways except you do have to drive through the town if going north which isn’t too bad for a camper but can be a bit iffy with a caravan as lots of parked cars on the Main Street both sides. You can avoid it by doing a bit of a detour by going south to Ballinluig and getting on the road back north from there as we had to do as the road was closed at the north end of the Main Street for road repairs. Plenty of dog friendly eateries in town and close to the Theatre too. We would definitely recommend this site. Facilities are great and clean too....Read less.

Lovely walk into the town of Pitlochry with plenty of local shops and produce . Plenty restaurants to choose from.

The location of the park is perfect and the scenery is stunning. Looking forward to our next stay in July.
