We really enjoyed our stay at Vale of Pickering, we extended our stay by two extra nights. The facilities are first class. All the staff I talked to were really helpful.

The site immediately gives the impression of being well managed. The grounds and all facilities are clearly set out and everywhere is clean. The toilet and shower facilities are exceptional, especially for families or those with disabilities. We enjoyed our visit to the cafe and were served by very helpful staff. We only wished it had been serving food on other days. The site is very flat and pitches easily accommodate a caravan and awning or as in our case a motorhome and car. The site is clearly a mecca for caravaneers and is well designed to meet their needs. As a motorhome user I would appreciate the MH service point being upgraded to provide a much larger dumping grid for waste water, more in the centre of the area.. A further improvement would be to have a tap on the side of the area rather than where it is currently located. Minor issues that would just make things easier. Overall an excellent site and we will be using it again. A great location for touring the surrounding area

We stayed here in our touring van about 4 years ago. We were very impressed with the facilities and the lovely site layout. We have just had another week here and can honestly say that everything was even better than last time with new facilities. We would certainly recommend to our friends.

The staff where very good, came and tuned our t v for us.Secure site ,the location is very good for local attractions.Facilities good and kept immaculate Great value for money.Would definitely visit again.Lovely relaxing holiday.

Great location for exploring the Yorkshire moors and coast. Never fails to impress and this was our 4th visit. Lovely clean facilities and having a shop on site is great. Recommend to friends and family.

Really enjoyed staying here despite the horrendous weather. Facilities very clean and shower and communal area nice and warm. Kids play park currently being renovated but knew about this ahead of time so not an issue. Only real issue was about check out. My cars brakes failed just as we arrived. Got the car booked in ASAP in morning but obviously had to check out by 11.30am. Explained to the lady on reception who told me it is nothing to do with her and I need to check out by 11.30 as the site is full. I explained I would do my best to rush back once car is fixed but obviously did know if that was going to be before the time. She told me to just get a taxi back to which i explained i would still have nowhere to put all our camping gear. She just dismissed me and said it is not for her deal with. So i left obviously a bit annoyed. She then phoned 20 mins later saying she could actually move a pitch around and so I do check out in our own time. Why cause the drama if its not necessary?

I have visited the site many times and enjoyed it every time. The plots are large enough for caravan and car. The washroom facilities, pot wash and toilets are always spotless. And the staff are friendly and welcoming.
