I stayed with a friend and we were given a shared pitch for two tents with a hook up for each tent. The pitch was a really good size and we were surrounded by established shrubs, trees and hedging, which were full of birds!

The office staff are very efficient and friendly and we had good communication from the start. The check-in was easy and we were shown to our pitches by another member of staff in a buggy, who was really helpful, showing us where everything was on the site.

The facilities were excellent and really clean. I particularly liked the individual bathrooms, which were spacious, clean and warm.

The site felt very natural and quiet. and there is a lovely woodland area at the end of the site, which you can walk through to get to the South West Coastal footpath....Read less.

We had a lovely stay at Warcombe. The initial well come was great and we were escorted to our pitch. We had a pitch which overlooked the sea which was beautiful. We have a reactive Greyhound and were relieved all dogs were on lead around the site. The toilets and showers were the best I have been to, clean and warm. Lots of birds and wild life to watch and very peaceful and relaxing. Accessing the nearby cycle route was easy . We have been to Warcombe a few times prior to this trip. This time we stayed in an enclosed pitch. Our previous trips were amazing but this visit was even better, the pitch was huge, extremely well kept with perfect amount of shade.

As always the facilities are outstanding, showers and toilets spotless.

Amazing dog walking meadow that’s our girls loved, with dog waste bins dotted everywhere.

Easy access with either a short walk to the beach or if you don’t fancy the walk you have the bus stop directly outside.

Staff are so professional and helpful and always happy to stop for a quick chat.

Woolacombe and Saunton Sands a must with the day ending with a cheeky wine at Captain Jacks.

Staff were friendly & so helpful, dealt with issues immediately. Enclosed pitches were amazing if staying with pets as no need to tether them. Only concern was only a single mesh fence between pitches, when we got there we had 2 dogs trying to attack our dog through the fence and holes were big enough for them to get heads through. A call to reception had maintenance down to look at problem, a windbreak was put up to block access & we also put picnic table to stop ours going near. An easy solution is to add an extra fence on other side of shrubs/ trees, there’d be no loss of size as banks are raised so not usable anyway. Luckily pitch on other side was blocked by dog owner with their own sheeting. Only other issue during stay was disabled shower had no temperature control so it was scalding, dealt with immediately. Great area in d/w area with info leaflets, fab dog walking park, dog wash was perfect for us to use, all facilities were amazing, will definitely be back. Well worth a visit...Read less.

We had a sea view pitch and were able to position caravan van to make the most of our view. It was like having our own private garden.

It’s a large site but pitches are huge. Really is something to suit everyone. We met families who had pitched together and had so much private space.

Overall a very lovely welcoming clean and well maintained site. Caters for all types of campers. Fishing lake is amazing, I fished it 3 times in my weeks stay and caught carp and roach every time. However a bit disappointed that you can't use ground bait or floating bait that being said corn works well and I hear bollies do also. If you are not a fisherman then woolacombe beach is the place to go it's beautiful.

My only criticism is with the showers there is no way of controlling the temperature, the week we stayed the weather was very hot so a cool shower had to be had in my caravan, that said the facilities are very very clean.

This is the furthest we have travelled with the caravan, being relative newbies. But it was well worth the four hour drive.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff in the shop and then shown to our pitch by George, I had requested a pitch that was not shaded and they had allocated us to Pitch No 18, which was perfect.

We had to park our van sideways onto the pitch in order for our waste pipe and other leads etc to work, but it was not a problem at all and in fact we enjoyed have the view that way around.

The showers and loos were always spotless and we were lucky that we had no neighbours which meant that it was incredibly peaceful. The weather was gorgeous and my husband enjoyed the dog walks and the fishing. He didn't bother bringing his own rods, £12.50 for rod, net and licence is very good value.

We had no complaints at all and enjoyed our stay of seven nights very much indeed.

The price of hosepipe in the onsite shop was cheaper than the local caravan store.

This is about the 6th year running that we have brought our campervan to this site. The most important thing for me, as a woman, is to have clean toilet/shower facilities and plenty of hot water in the showers so you don't have to worry about it going cold half way through. It never has. We always go in school term time so the site is peaceful, another plus. All the staff are really friendly and very visible, which I think encourages people to behave themselves. We stay for 2 weeks and walk everywhere , in every direction, there's so many places you can get to on foot. We plan to go a lot more than once a year when we retire, in 2 years....Read less.

We had a sea view pitch which was lovely and the pitch size was amazing and the dog walking area was the best I’ve ever seen.

The staff were all very nice and the site was very well organised and tidy.

The shop was stocked with great food and drinks and the essentials. The fresh pastries were delicious.

If I had to pick something I would like to see different it would be the toilet block. All the shower panels inside are black and made it all feel very dark and unwelcoming.

We couldn't fault Warcombe Farm. We stayed in one of the gated pitches and our lively Jack Russell loved the freedom. The staff were great. We really enjoyed staying with you with our 3 dogs, facilities were lovely, clean and plenty of space. We stayed on a non electric pitch in a campervan and found the pitch a great space with plenty of room for the van, awning and chairs. It was nicely screened from others as we have an anxious dog. My only comment would be that the brambles around the outside of the pitch had recently been cut/strimmed and there were brambles cuttings across the pitch making it difficult to walk around with bare feet.

Staff were very friendly and the site was well run.

Facilities were continuously spotless- we went in June and campsite wasn’t particularly full , but felt as though enough facilities for more campers and would expect standards to be maintained from what we saw.

Fishing lake was visited by my son, he enjoyed catching large carp and the peacefulness of the surroundings.

Reception has a help yourself herb garden for your cooking and a beach item loan booth which came in handy. Hiring a picnic beach for £2.50 a day was very handy. Rubbish bins regularly emptied and stones for bbq’s. There are hedges between some pitches but location as very high up above sea level can be subject to Mizzle and high winds (as you would expect on a coastal location) so pick your weather!

Woolacombe, Mortehoe, Croyde and Ilfracombe all a short distance away. We did Woolacombe Dunes park run on the Saturday, which was about a 15 min drive away....Read less.

Well defined pitches with lovely hedges etc to divide them up the campsite was well laid out and for it's size didn't feel too crowded. The park was nice and the woodland walk was amazing with access to coastal footpaths, the additional play equipment in there was a nice surprise for the kids it would be good to see more of that throughout i.e wooden balance beams to make the trail.more kid friendly as this is a really lovely area of the site. Nice views of the sea from our sea view pitch although it was a little further to see the sea than we expected the sunsets were lovely. My family has been staying at Warcombe Farm for many years and it never disappoints. The facilities are immaculately maintained and you never have to wait for showers or toilets even when the site is full. The dog walking area is beautiful and a huge bonus for owners. Being so nice owners keep it perfect picking up their mess. The team on site are very professional and passionate about their business. With short drive down to the beach it is a great location. Pitches are a great size with many of them really private surrounded by hedges. I wanted to book the new gated pitches for dog owners but sadly they were full so hopefully they will develop more of these pitches as they are a great idea. There are negative reviews on this site but all seem to come from people who want to stay up all night in loud crowds or expecting to arrive or check out far later than the stated times so are simply not justified. We have now stayed with Warcombe farm, over 5 occasions now. We return to Warcombe, for location, availability (particularly when camping with multiple parties, and Warcombe has always accommodated us to all pitch together) this site is one of the best. The amenities are really good and site shop is well stocked. Cleanliness of the facilities, toilet/ shower blocks is top class and plenty of choice when it comes to pitch type. Pitches are generous, easily fitting 5/6 man tents with ease. The site and the land it is on, is big, with a nature reserve to walk around . There is a lake, that offers a great views and offers the option to fish. Most evenings a food offering is available, by visiting mobile food vans. This is a site for all, and a park for kids. If you ever visit Woolacoombe there is plenty of choice to go off site and opt for a local pub or restaurant, with ease, walking to the beach is not too bad either. This is a fantastic site, the location is amazing for walking specially with the dogs. Walking locations we walked to were mortehoe, Lee bay and woolacombe beach. The site is very clean and tidy. The pitches are such a great size whatever pitch you choose. The only thing is maybe having a toilet facility even if it’s just one little cabin no showers just a toilet nearer the bottom area where the sea view and the enclosed pitches are, it’s a very long walk from there to the toilet block. Friendly staff, excellent clean facilities, lovely spacious pitches with lots of trees and hedges to demarcate smaller areas. Loved the baked breakfast products (when we were early enough!) and the herb garden. Didn't make use of the food vans but would certainly do another time. Only point to note is that the walk into (and particularly back from) Lee isn’t for the faint heated. It’s a good 45 mins and a 200 metre descent/ascent, but that typifies the north Devon coastline in this area and results in the amazing views. However we were visiting the area with 20+ family members, the rest of whom were staying in Lee so it just meant we got super fit as a result of our stay!...Read less.

First time at Warcombe and won’t be the last. Great site which was extremely well maintained and the premier plot was a really good size for our needs. Wash facilities were fantastic and the large cubicles, underfloor heating and tidy/cleanliness is the best I’ve encountered in the UK. Staff attentive, polite and always on hand to help or say hi. Natural borders surrounding most plots kept noise to a minimum during day/night and gave max privacy too. Dog walk area was pristine!

Only one tiny detail I would suggest which is the superb 9am bakery in the morning. Would save time, queues and let down if you could preorder the day before. Realise this has been tried previously and feedback was it was difficult to manage. If you could work this out it would be a 100% site IMO. I passed many deflated campers each morning just after 9am who arrived too late to benefit from what is becoming a go-to in modern day camping.

Due to a road closure because of an accident we decided to detour and stop a night at warcombe. Following a very scary satnav reroute from closed roads, we finally found A roads again, and arrived onsite following their wat3words link. Battle-scared and shook up we received a friendly welcome at check-in and picked up 2 cold ciders to calm our nerves. Taken to our pitch by a lovely gentleman who gave us additional information about the site. Food wagon arrived onsite and we ordered 2 amazing chicken wraps with homemade potato salad and coleslaw…. We settled to watch an amazing sunset, and a lightening show over the sea to wales… luckily we escaped it! Had a lovely sea view pitch and in the morning took a wonderful dog walk in their acres of well kept fields full of butterflies… just the tonic we needed before hitting the motorway again...Read less.

Warcombe farm is an excellent campsite catering for caravans, motorhomes and tents, pitches are large and mainly private.

We stayed with our family and the staff arranged for the pitches to be located together.

Lovely dog walks and sea views from many pitches.

Reception is well stocked and is open until 7pm.

Private lake is located in the centre of the park with nice pitches around it.

One main thing is how friendly the staff, special mention to Yorkshire chap Mark (Dinno)

Great site very clean but a bit out of the way there is however beach runner a friendly reliable taxi service for 8 seater we had walked into woolacombe but did not have the energy to return and with an 18 month old on a warm day they were our saviour.

The sea views are amazing and the pitches huge and level. Very clean, tidy, pretty site.

Shower/toilet blocks are spotless and modern. Lots of showers with continuous hot water and plenty of toilets.

Me and friends visited during half term and we had such a lovely time. Pitched are great, staff friendly who showed us to our pitch. Toilets and showers always clean.

The only thing we did find difficult was the showers as they were really hot automatic showers that you could not adjust the temperature which we struggled with during the heatwave. Other than that we all really enjoyed our stay!...Read less.

Excellent site, clean and well kept, very helpful and friendly staff.

The pitches are really big so you don’t feel crammed in.

There a massive dog walking area with plenty of waste bins on site, also only a stone’s throw from some dog friendly beaches.

Overall we had a great weeks stay.

This site is so well organised. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming.

Having been shown to our pitch we were impressed, it was a good size and due to our reactive dog, we were allocated one of the pitches that has the headesrows to 3 sides, meaning we could use our windbreak to the front.

The shower and toilet block were extremely well maintained and clean; makes such a difference when you walk in to a nice clean warm shared toilet and shower 😆.

For a small shop, it is well stocked from the usual food and drinks to those fotgotten camping bits.

We had a short drive to Barricane beach (it is walkable but due to the breed of our dogs, and the weather we chose to drive). We visited on what was the cooler days so whilst busy. It was easy to park and explore.

Lovely friendly and welcoming team, it is very good how secure the site is, the facilities are adequate and most of the time clean (you can’t help some feral individuals that leave it in a state). The shop is well stocked and reasonably priced and great that it is open from the morning until a reasonable 7pm. This does save the hassle of having to travel out of the campsite to one of the surrounding areas. The location is great as it gives you choices of Morthoe, Woolacombe or any of the surrounding attractions.

The only issue we had was there was a few places on surrounding pitches (kids playing on them as they were empty - if that was permitted) where either people had left dog poo or it could’ve been a big fox perhaps. Totally understand wildlife but I didn’t have anything to remove it. Perhaps a routine visual check although difficult to see with so many pitches.

Despite that it was our fourth or fifth time camping there and would definitely return again, hopefully very soon....Read less.

We have stayed on many campsites and this was one of the best. Hugely warm welcome with lots of information, huge, spacious pitches, beautifully clean bathrooms and toilets and lots too. Lots of hot water. There’s also a well stocked shop which serves fresh pastries every morning which is a really nice touch. I’d have liked fresh baguettes but the pain au chocolates were lovely. The dog area isn’t just a field, it’s really well maintained, with lots of different areas to sit, play or just enjoy. Honestly a lovely campsite, we really enjoyed our stay....Read less.

Excellent stay for two nights with my nephews by the lake !! Facilities were excellent clean and tidy, the shop was great. Staff were very helpful! Definitely value for money for 3 people and 3 dogs with electric water and a picnic bench. Never really got chance to visit places as not much time, but if we come back in the holidays it will be for longer. I would definitely have a gated pitch or one with hedge around!

We hadn't camped before but went with friends who had visited this campsite 3 times before! Great location, facilities all seemed clean and well maintained. Park for the kids, woodland walk area and the shop were all very useful. The food trucks were a bonus and we had fresh pastries from the shop one morning. Would love to return....Read less.

This was our first visit to Warcombe, and our 3 year old daughter's first ever time camping and we all loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the site was very well maintained and the facilities were brilliant.

Amazing stay at Warcombe, really appreciated the grass area available to spend the night as arriving after check in closing. The enclosed pitch is a game changer for us and our dog, such freedom for Lola. The dog walk area is first class, huge, well kept, lots of little passage ways to explore and even regular dog bins. Amazing coastal paths for hiking and running not far from the site, 2 pubs within a 20 minute walk. Beaches 10 minute drive. The toilets and showers were brilliant, very clean and shower cubicles huge with actual shelving to put things on, first time we have seen that! Staff very friendly and helpful. The site is big but really well spaced out and the pitches in most areas are huge, so it never feels busy. One of the best sites we have ever stayed at, we'll be back for sure!...Read less.

Warcombe Farm is one of the best camp sites. The staff are always really friendly and as we’ve been coming here for years now we consider them friends. It is dog friendly with a wonderful dog walk. The camp site and dog walk is always kept beautifully and we are always sad to leave....Read less.

Excellent service by all the staff.

Good choice of different types of pitches.

Site & facilities all maintained to a high standard.

Only downside for me was the fishing.

I would say it was overstocked due to the ease of catching fish & also over fished due to the damage to many of the fish I caught.

Maybe needs addressing for the future.

Nice well run site, easy to find & access - all the facilities are clean and plentiful. Dog walk is 5* and arranged with dogs and dog walkers in mind - best site dog walk by far !

Nice variety of pitches - with us selecting one that had water & waste on the pitch - excellent !

Very safe & well run overall - very peaceful & friendly site

Only point - I mentioned to the owners during the visit was that whilst I understand the pricing policy to to look to charge visitors to visit - I do not accept the once that has been done that they are not allowed to drive on site. Safety is not the issue as ALL have a responsibility to drive slow, including visitors. We had 2 visitors over the 2 weeks and it was a bind to shuttle then up & down with all the gear especially as one was my daughter to collect 2 grandkids will all the car seats and stuff - much easier to allow them on whilst highlighting the need to exercise caution and keep to the speed limit.
