This is our second time staying. The pitches are fantastically spacious and you never feel on top of other campers.

The toilets & showers are one of the best of all the campsites we’ve been to. The block is so warm and clean.

Our fourth visit to Warcombe and as always, it was excellent. It really is the perfect place to caravan with dogs, with the excellent dog walking area and the dog shower. We had a particularly rainy week, so the shower was very useful.

The pitch was just what we wanted, where we wanted. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There are several good walks from the campsite and there are lots of others a short drive away.

Warcombe Farm provide an excellent base for holidays in the Woolacombe area. The facilities are spotless, there is an excellent range of grass of hard-standing pitches - with or without electricity - with a number having spectacular sea views.

The site is very well maintained while retaining the rural countryside look and feel. The facilities were very clean, warm and with plenty of hot water in the showers. The site staff were also very friendly and polite.

My only criticisms are that I felt the toilet cubicles to be quite uncomfortable due to the inhibiting large toilet paper dispensers. I also paid £30 for the WiFi for the 2 weeks of our stay which we found to be very slow and no improvement of the G4 signal we were receiving....Read less.

Bus service outside of the campsite to visit the beautiful surrounding areas. A stunning woodland to exercise your dogs that also proceeds onto the coastal path. A stunning campsite with a variety of unique pitches to suit all tastes. We love being Lakeside and have been returning here twice yearly for 4 years or more.. Local area has plenty to do. We stayed outside of the main season and found the whole site to be of the highest quality with cleanliness clearly being one of sites best points. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic and so helpful.

The dog walking area was very clean and a great place to let the dogs run free, with walking on to the coast path just a short field or two further away.

The fishing lake was incredibly well stocked and if you couldn’t catch you probably forgot to put a hook on !!!

We have never had a bad pitch at Warcombe Farm, whether in a tent or campervan. This time we were in a tent and made full use of the facilities which are always clean and warm. Even coming to the end of season the pitches are in good condition and coped with the heavy rain well. Due to the rain on arrival we were given another pitch. We could have moved when the weather was good again. The allocated spot suited us so we stayed. This quiet campsite is clean and most pitches have enough privacy. Walking directly behind the campsite to various villages and the sea. A perfect campsite for everyone. From the moment you pull onto the site, the excellent experience begins. All the staff are so helpful and happy. You are taken to your chosen pitch which is always of a high standard. The whole site has such a relaxed atmosphere and the facilities are excellent. From clean showers and toilets to lovely bright surroundings with lovely flowers and trees to the best dog walk ever. You can even access the coastal path from the site. Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are close by for amazing dog walking, surfing or just pasty and ice cream eating!

We stayed at Warcombe farm for a week with our touring caravan. We were lucky enough to have a pitch with a fantastic sea view (when the mist had cleared!). Great facilities - the shower / toilet block are immaculate and modern, and you even get to shower with music playing! The dog walking area has been well thought out to accommodate any type of dog and the dog washing shower is the envy of any dog owner!

This was our second visit to Warcombe Farm. It is a wonderful sight with helpful staff and excellent facilities.

The only thing that troubled us was that people wandered onto our pitch quite a bit (86) and used our private, clearly marked gate to access the lake. This was quite an invasion of privacy.

You really need a car with this site as it is a steep walk down into Woolacoombe. It was brilliant having the car with us this year as we visited some wonderful places.

In human terms, the site is immaculate, the staff fantastic, helpful and friendly and cheerful. There are great touches like the free to pick herb garden to help your cooking or BBQ. The pitches well maintained and the facilities clean, tidy and warm, important in May and September when we went to Warcombe Farm Park ! Now for the dog's view, a huge, beautifully maintained, enclosed dog walk, plenty of poo bins which are properly used by the owners so clean too. There is a great, warm water enclosed shower for dirty dogs, although this may not be my dogs favourite feature, so we cheered him up with a dog ice cream from the well stocked camp shop and a cold bottle of white wine for us. The views are lovely and the sunsets amazing, the campsite is close to some great beaches and rolling countryside what more could you or your dog want....Read less.

From the moment I arrived I felt looked after. It was just myself and my dog staying for the weekend. Every effort had been made to ensure if you travel with a dog you’re catered for eg doggie treat bag on arrival and dog clips outside of the loo / showers. A large site that is cleverly divided up into smaller areas that has a lovely private feel. Wonderful modern and warm facilities, lovely large showers all spotlessly clean.

Dog walk is amazing with a brilliant dog wash.

Bus stop right outside that takes you to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. Or you can walk down to Woolacombe (but steep coming back!) Also there is a cycle path further down the road that you can join which also takes you to Ilfracombe.

Warcombe is a large site with numerous pitches of different type - it was only 30% full when we were there so quiet and generally relaxing despite the poor weather. Facilities are excellent two toilet block with numerous showers loos and some family type all in one bathrooms. There is a small shop and reception and all staff are very helpful & friendly. There is a huge and excellent dog walk with its own dog wash and there are endless walking opportunities from the site. My only niggle was the on site roads are quite potholed and the gravel on our pitch was very fine and worn so it got walked into the caravan particularly when wet. Some grass pitches were massively damaged by tents/awnings so worth checking on your pitch pre arrival if the weather is bad. We paid around £40 a night including dog and awning fees which is pricy & perhaps for September a bit much. Overall, a very nice site with good facilities and well run....Read less.

I have had my annual holiday at Warcombe farm for over 30 yrs I like that it is close to the north devon coast, but the site has country side feel to it.

The staff are helpful and friendly.

The shower and toilet facilities are second to none

Over the years I have had a 38ft motorhome towing 24ft trailer and found that there was ample room on the pitches to accommodate both.

I now have a caravan and are in my eighties so probably will not be able to visit Warcombe farm again I will miss is greatly but wish all the staff well.

The camp site is beautiful, it’s very well kept, communal bins were emptied everyday, the toilet and shower blocks were immaculate & there was a small shop on site which is so handy as well as a food van!!

With only a 5 minute drive down to Woolacombe beach this was a great find & we will definitely be returning next summer & most likely the at least the next few summers after that!...Read less.

We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. That said they quite rightly apply the rules in a firm but courteous way so that all campers are able to enjoy themselves. Booking on line is easy. Lots of pitches to choose from but we park close to the lake on lovely big flat pitches with electric & water.

From the minute you arrive at the top of the site & see the sea views you can relax. Reception are really friendly & helpful, will go through your stay with you & have you escorted to your pitch.

The whole park is kept immaculate. There are staff out & about maintaining the grounds & facilities with a smile rain or shine. The bottom field for dog walking with the woodland & large grass areas is fabulous. The play park & zip wire is also a hit with the kids.

The shower & loo blocks are both lovely & clean with plenty of washing up facilities plus washing machines & driers.

Pros - Fantastic heated luxury shower rooms and toilet facilities, great food truck, beautiful scenery and walks, well-stocked shop, beach kit rental, washing machine and tumble dryer facilities, large spacious fully serviced pitches, picnic benches are handy.

Cons - Strict check in and check out times, not straight forward to come and go at night if you head out for dinner as barrier controlled and reception closes at 6, friendly but very militant staff can make you feel uneasy, poor WiFi option, no privacy on pitches nearest reception. Just what we needed - a clean and well kept camp site. Prices are a little higher than others but that is due to the top quality service. The shop is lovely, prices are very reasonable, staff are friendly and helpful. Our pitch was private and huge, would definitely recommend calling to book and discussing pitch location so it is perfect for you.

Agree with all other reviews - the facilities are spotless and cleaned daily. There is some noise from (much needed) lawnmowers around 11am most days, which we didn’t mind. There was also hot, home cooked food available every evening, a huge bonus.

DOGS - the staff have really thought of everything. There are water bowls everywhere, a posh dog shower, tie up points and a huge off-lead walk in Warcombe Forest. We booked based on this and we weren’t disappointed.

Definitely recommend Marwood Gardens if you have a car, and Woolacombe beach. The walk to Morte Point is beautiful and easy to follow from Mortehoe.

I have stayed a Warcombe farm many times before a truly ilovely site. What I don’t understand is the 14.00 check in, it’s not a Haven, or park dean resort where you are waiting for a caravan to be cleaned, you have to be off site at 11.00 and a strict policy that overstays are not accepted! Does this site need to have such a tight curfew in checking in, there was 5 people that had turned up just before us at 13.40, weather closing in, being camping we didn’t want to set up in the rain. In actual fact by the time they had gone though guests arriving before us we didn’t get on site till 14.40. Surely common sense prevails pitch allocated and available why not let you on? One other mention is we booked a Grass pitch plus, £162.00 yet the caravans seemed to be placed on more sheltered pitches, the park for August was unbelievably quiet. Small gripes? the toilets immaculate, heated floors and lovely hot showers, it’s in such a beautiful location. so many rules too, may try hidden valley...Read less.

The pitch was a good size and quite private. The kids park was great, the zip wire was a hit with my kids.

The park was a little larger than what we are used to so there was quite a walk to use the toilet or go to the park.

The food van (can't remember the name, possibly Blue something), served a tidy pizza but the curry was very bland (like a jar curry, with no taste whatsoever. For £11 ish per curry it was not good at all!

The lake was great to walk around, ducks and fish galore.

Great location to several lovely beaches. We visited Watermouth Castle and was such a great place for young children.

Staff are very friendly and make you feel at home, only reason I come back here each year is because of the staff and the facilities, the whole site is very clean and really well managed.

There is a small shop on site that sold anything we needed that we forgot to bring, the beach is a 5 min drive or you can walk, the views are perfect.

I have no doubt we will be returning to this site again, we went for a short week that we booked in advance, then the week after the kids wanted to go back so we went again for the weekend.

I would like to see more recycling within the site. It’s too easy to just put all rubbish in the nearby bins.

After the pizza van evening there were lots of boxes in the normal bins so unfortunately it’s obvious that some people don’t carry stuff up to the big bins (I know that some do).

Perhaps you could first try collecting, eg. plastic bottles or the pizza boxes as easy things to collect.

Chose this site for the views over the ocean, enormous pitch & freedom to site caravan how we wanted etc.

Downsides; the waste disposal points were long way from allocated pitch. Not sure if there is a dog limit per pitch, our neighbours had 3 with them 2 of which were yapping terrier's, and seemed oblivious to the disturbance & irritation caused. There should be a dog free area.

Also a mix of tents and caravans, this is a large site though certainly wasn’t full when we were there.

Would we visit again ? Yes booked for next year, though I won’t be as tolerant of neighbours barking dogs...Read less.

After an awful journey down from Essex it was great to finally arrive. We arrived after 7pm so had to call the warden, no drama he came instantly and helped us to the pitch. Nice chap. After setup the weather changed and we had mostly wet mornings and dry afternoons. Thats Devon for you. Our seaview pitch was exposed and we did take a battering some nights with wind and rain, still we survived.

If you want less wind go for an inward pitch is my advice.

Toilets and showers are fine, plenty of them and in good order. My only gripe is the temperature. On a hot eveing i want a cool shower, these are not adjustable and to hot for me. However the girls liked the hot.

The site shop is well stocked, all you need in a rush. Nice people serving.

Well maintained pitches and team always working on the site to keep nice. Great location for Woolacoombe and beach. Down the road Morthoe which is a great village.

We have stayed at Warcombe Farm many times before. We find the site to be very well looked after incredibly clean. The staff are very friendly, they always greet you around the site and are more than happy to help. There are plenty of hot showers and the facilities are always clean and tidy. There is a small shop onsite which carries all your essential needs… even a toothbrush! There are nightly food van visits to the site, so if you don’t feel like cooking, you don’t have too. The theme varies every night. Someone recommended Squires fish and chip restaurant in Braunton and we seriously not disappointed. The fish was amazing. I would advise booking as it gets very busy. Another must is the Barricane beach cafe. The nightly curry is most definitely worth the wait....Read less.

The place is stunning, so well kept, the staff take such pride, they are all amazing, perfect location, amazing factilities, really clean, so chuffed with this place will definatley be back!

We will be returning for a third year. This site is so clean and well maintained, playground safety is checked daily, staff are so lovely and helpful. Site has a variety of pitches - some with views so tucked away so there is something for all.

There is even music in the toilets!!

Only thing I would change is being able to alter the temperature in the showers. But that’s us being picky!!...Read less.
