Norden Farm is a large site that somehow feels far more intimate, we stayed on the Donkey field, couldn't find the donkey but did meet the peacocks and geese, this was a field that had around 40 pitches a mixture of electric and non electric and was predominately families. The field is quite sheltered and is only a short walk to the toilet, wash station, laundry and a bit further on was the shop, the plots are flat and drain well and where well looked after.

The farm shop stocks everything from camping supplies to farming equipment. your known food brands and local food, beer and gins, the staff where friendly and really organised and really helpful. They also had several pop up food sellers of an evening, the pizza was excellent but the chips where not the best.

If you are looking for a great site in an area full of history and outstanding scenery with some really good attractions, Monkey World is brilliant, within a short drive this is the place to visit....Read less.

We have been staying at Norden for 3 years during the school holidays in our caravan. The site has great facilities and the reason we go back is because locally there is so much to see and do. The staff are helpful & friendly and considering the capacity and volume of visitors to such a big site, the facilities are managed well, clean, functional etc. This year's addition of the telephone box book swap is great! We used the pooch parlour this year too which is so convenient. We will always revisit at some point, we have 9 days booked next summer already. It has it all. Excellent site, pitches well marked out, quiet at night and showers/toilets/washing up block excellent. Very clean and well maintained. Large site that never felt too busy. The opportunity to visit the farm animals throughout our stay made my daughters holiday! From the donkeys to the peacocks - she loved it. The food options on site were great, amazing pizzas, and shop has everything you need for food and camping supplies. We are national trust members, which was great for parking at the beautiful beaches at Studland which we visited most afternoons and we did a couple of NT walks too - old Harry’s rocks and Spy Way. It was lovely to walk into corfe from the site too, fab bakery and kids loved the sweet shop! We food shopped at Sainsbury’s in nearby Wareham and drove to Swanage, Poole and Bournemouth. Shame the ferry to sandbanks isn’t working this year. On other sites we’ve holidayed at, caravans and tents have their own areas of campsites, here they seem to mix them up, or maybe this was just the main field where we were. We never felt unsafe during our stay, but the addition of a number plate recognition barrier would be a good idea. The site is on a working farm, which we liked, but the old farm sheds and barns, which you walk past/drive through at the entrance to the site and shop, did concern me a little with regard to safety, as did the tractor unloading hay bales amongst pedestrians and cars. This is just part of being a working farm site though, so we just made our children very aware of that. I’d not hesitate to recommend this site and we’d definitely return....Read less.

We had 5 nights at Nordin .

On arriving at site we were informed of our pitch, which was not the one we had asked for.

it was right outside the Washrooms and also the food vendors area, great you say for late night visits to the loo, and nightly feasts , but not a pitch for those who would like a bit more privacy and tranquility.

There was a constant hum of hand dryers, shower benches crashing , dish washing activities and not to mention cars parking right outside our pitch with engines running whilst occupants made quick dashes to the loos or to pick up a Dorset Pizza, not the fresh air we were expecting.

We made the most of it, but will only return if we are given the pitch we asked for.

Everything else about the site is fine....Read less.

Me and my partner had an excellent time away. The wash facilities were very clean the showers were lovely and hot which you dont get on most campsites. There was a little park next door for the children and alot of farm animals to look at as the site is based on a working farm. There are s choice of 4 beaches that are accessible from the campsite which we did three Swansea, Poole and Weymouth all were beautiful beaches with plenty of activities and loads of places to eat. The campsite was easy to find with a satnav and next time we'll be able to find it without it. This was a very cheap holiday for us £56 for 2 nights in a tent with electric. When we return we'll be bringing our son so we wont need to have electric but the place is very child friendly but as me and my partner didnt know the site we thought we'd check it out first. It was very easy to book over the phone and the lady was very friendly and helpful. On arrival the process was very easy.I stayed in Top Field. It was busy but friendly and id definitely stay again. It has to be said the campsite shop was a welcome surprise. It's the largest i have seen on a campsite and they sell fresh produce, fruit and veg as well as fresh bread.I needed to replace my air bed and the shop even has a camping supplies section.I could even have bought a new tent if i needed to.If i didn't want to cook there are take away facilities on site,a pizza stall which is very popular,a fish and chip stall and there is a hog roast every week and there was live entertainment that went with it the week i was there.I didn't have an electric hook up,i didn't really need mains electric apart from charging my phone and camera batteries, and the site do that for a small charge. The showers and toilets are fine, and kept very clean. The staff maintaining the site did very well and kept every clean and tidy. The site itself is very flat so i didn't have to sleep on a slope. The campsite is part of a live farm that has cows, goats, sheep, geese, peacocks, ducks and are very much part of the campsite experience.Location? 15 minutes gentle stroll via a woodland pathway to Corfe Castle, and right on the Swanage,Wareham road, but there is no traffic noise.Would i stay again? This is a very well organised campsite which still has a relaxed feel about it (helped by the beautiful rural setting, and the fact that it is all grass pitches with no hard standings). All the facilities have been well thought out - for example, having separate entrances for toilets and showers, and cubicles with just basins in the shower block for teeth cleaning or a quick wash. The main draws for us were the location (access on foot to Corfe Castle and the Swanage Railway, plus easy to visit places like Kimmeridge and Durdle Door by car) and the animals: the farm cats, free-roaming peacocks, ducks and swans by the (fenced-off) pond, and cows and goats in their stalls helped to keep the kids engaged and meant they could run off and explore. The playground is mainly suitable for younger children. The visiting snack vans, while charging tourist prices as you would expect, are a good touch and handy for an occasional treat. Bad weather meant we weren't able to try out the wood-fired pizza or the acoustic music planned for the event field, but this also seemed to be well organised, placed well away from the camping fields and not going on late. Other reviewers have complained about the 11pm "quiet" rule but this was a definite attraction for us. The only - very minor - blot was the use of a leaf blower to tidy up the apparently spotless area around the shower block, which was a bit of a shame on a peaceful afternoon, but you can't blame the staff for doing their job in keeping the place neat and it didn't go on for long. Norden Farm have struck the right balance between having everything organised and allowing visitors space to enjoy themselves. We will definitely be visiting this lovely place again....Read less.

Holiday for four adults and two children in two tents (one a trailer tent). We were on the Top Field - no power and facilities a couple of hundred metres away. Site was well used but didn't feel crowded. Not too much light glare at night. Site clean and tidy and great walks straight off site - e.g. To Corfe Castle over the ridge and woods and heath to the north - where there were many fallow deer. Shop was good; you could get what you needed right there. And pizzas two days a week and a catering van too. There were two event evenings with music - very nice. There were animals for children to be close to, and good but small play facilities. It would have helped if advice was given on arrival about winds and weather; the winds came down the valley direct from the west; we pitched side on to the wind and had to break camp early in wild weather as a result. Overall this is a well set up and well run site, definitely recommended....Read less.

We have just come back from an absolutely wonderful week’s stay at Norden Farm campsite in our campervan with two boys (aged 3 and 5). I cannot fault the site at all. We were allocated an electric hook up pitch on Donkey field, which was near to the main toilet facilities, which was perfect for us. The pitch was marked out fantastically with yellow posts and you pitched in the middle to ensure the 6m rule between tents / campervans was adhered to. There was lots of grass to play on between the pitches and the boys were able to play games whilst we could safely watch them from the van and awning. I have never known a campsite so quiet at night too – how totally brilliant. Our boys still go to bed reasonably early, so it was great that by 9pm most nights although some people were still sitting out the noise was kept to a minimum and we barely heard anything after 9:30pm most nights!! I was super impressed with the site maintenance as well – bins emptied very regularly and grass was cut after each pitch was vacated!!

The toilets were always clean, always had toilet roll and I can honestly say I never waited once to use a toilet or shower (which I wasn’t expecting in the school summer holidays!!). The showers although in the same building are separate from the toilets and there was a family bathroom, which had shower, change table, toilet, sink and bath (for use with children 3 and under), which we utilised on a couple of occasions as our youngest still loves his baths, so we showered the big one whilst the youngest was in the bath – perfect!! The washing up facilities were great and because we were so lucky with the sunny weather, we utilised the washing machine (which was £3 – you got tokens from the farm shop / reception) to wash and dry clothes before we got home!! The play area was next to the main toilet block and was great to burn off a bit of energy. The animals on the farm were great fun, we all especially liked our regular visits from the peacocks to the front of the awning!! We spotted pigs, chickens, goats, ducks, peacocks, cows and I’m sure a few more we missed!!

The farm shop was always well stocked and competitively prices and staff were always friendly and helpful.

The rest of the campsite was lovely too, the main field was bigger than donkey field but still very spacious pitches and there was another toilet block between main field and pond field. The pond was nice to walk around and there were a few goats between the two fields. The top field was a free for all with no EHU, but again still looked pretty spaced out and didn’t seem noisy, they had separated the field so it was groups one side and families the other. The farm had regular visits from takeaway vehicles the wood fired pizza was delicious – and so reasonable at £6 for a 9” pizza and only £1 extra for a gluten free base!! We loved the band tent just across from top field, we went two nights and saw a couple of live bands. The hay bales to sit on were cute and the visiting hog roast van a great (and very popular) idea!!! A lot of thought has been put into this area by the campsite and I can honestly saw it was lovely and being utilised by a lot of campers on the site.

The campsite is in a wonderful location, the scenery is just incredible. We walked to Corfe castle along the footpath from the campsite and through the woods, it took us around 30 minutes (at 3 year old pace) which was perfect. Corfe castle is National Trust and they had a medieval village on and there was a trail the kids to do too which was fab. We even managed a drink in the Greyhound pub beer garden whilst the kids had an ice cream!! We got on the bus to Swanage for the day, which was about 20-25 minutes, very cute little seaside town and we were lucky enough to be there for the carnival parade too. We also got on the steam train another day, we walked from the site to Norden station – there is a super wooden train play area there for kids – we went there multiple times (just to use the park!!)

We had day trips out to Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Shell bay beach and crabbing in Swanage all within 20 minutes or so of the campsite and we went to Weymouth for the day which was around 35-40 mins.

We totally loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The campsite has the perfect combination of open space and feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere to being able to see so much of Dorset’s beauty right on your doorstep. The campsite has been carefully thought out and designed and works brilliantly. We will definitely be back. Thanks Norden Farm....Read less.

The onsite shop is extremely well stocked and has been a god send when we've forgotten something or needed something urgently.

The only downside, was the paid wifi, which I had paid for but couldn't get a decent connection with for the week, but it's one of those things you take a gamble with depending on where you're pitched. Normally we don't have an issue.

I thought the kids playground could be developed slightly .

The location, near Corfe, is great but unfortunately the top field where we were appeared to be in the bottom of a valley so the wind rattled down it quote ferociously- and that was before the 60mph gale force winds arrived. We decided it was probably prudent to decamp before these hit! Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable site. :-)...Read less.

We were staying here for a second time (first time back in 2012 when our daughter learned to ride her bike here!!). Then we were in a tent, and it was a bit blowy and we were subjected to a large party behind us who liked to party hard ..

This time, we'd heard there had been a few upgrades to the park and read lots of good reviews, so decided we'd return as it was the perfect location for our short break to take in our usual haunts (Durdle Door, Corfe, Studland, Swanage). We'd hired a camper van with drive away awning - but brought hubby's car to travel about in (extra storage for the snorkelling kit etc. too!)

We knew the site was full, so felt lucky to find a decent sized pitch right against the back fence of the Top Field (looked newly vacated) - we had amazing views up the valley, where the cows were grazing and the sun set over the trees.

Our first night there was a live Celtic band playing in the Events field which was a really nice touch and well attended. We had also had the wood fired pizza from the van on site earlier for dinner - very nice!

We bought breakfast from Sally every morning - lovely lady, very friendly - (look out for a brand new jar of pickled eggs)..

The toilets/showers were great - shower cubicles a really good size and water very hot - pressure ok. Didn't use the washing up facilities as had the van.

Recycling/bins set up very good and central -saw hardly any rubbish around the site.

The farm animals are wonderful - and we were lucky enough to have a calf born during our stay!

We were lucky with the weather - just had the rain on the last night and the start of the winds - were glad we were leaving before the worst of the winds arrived as even in a 'fresh breeze', you are quite exposed in the Top Field!

The shop has just about everything you can think of - the local sausages were lovely and the Jack Rabbit Merlot went down a treat on the last rainy evening over a game of Scrabble!

We look forward to coming again - keep up the good work!...Read less.

The staff are friendly, the shop is well equipped and reasonable, the surrounding areas are beautiful and the facilities are kept clean. Dorset is a great place if you are National Trust members as it has a lot to offer and the stunning beaches are close to the campsite. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else now. I love hearing the stories of the families who have been going to Norden for 30-40 years and keep coming back with their children and grandchildren, I hope to be one of those families one day. Our stay at the campsite was determined by friends staying there, in retrospect it was much larger than we would normally use. It is an ideal place for families with good play areas and a super shop with a huge variety of things for sale.

The showers were very good and clean with separate dry spaces for cloths etc. The toilets were mostly clean but got a little less so as the day went on, lots of unaccomplished children using them.

The electric pitches were large enough and flat. However we were on pitch 24 which to be honest was extremely noisy as right opposite the facilities so every time the hand-driers were used or the shower seats were moved you heard it. The area was also used by groups of youngsters as a meeting place and by adults (who should have known better) as the late night ‘heavy discussion’ place.

Excellent site, we had a great time when we stayed there in July 19, the site is well managed and maintained to a high level, all the amenities are also kept to a high standard, but like most things, there is always room for improvement, of which i noticed some night lighting on the footpaths would help.

The main issue i noted was with the fishing pond, some improvements with the upkeep of the pegs would be a great bonus along with the swims being maintained by the means of the vegetation being cut back to facilitate access, also the water management wouldn't go amiss,

On the plus side, the pond has a good stock of fish, especially the carp which i happily found to my good fortune to be of a good size.

In closing Norden are doing an excellent job so just keep it up. ( if it's not broke don't fix it)...Read less.

Norden farm is a fantastic campsite. We camped in the top field, which was for tents without electrical hook-ups. No dedicated pitches, which meant that we could camp together as a large group. It was peak season and quite busy but there was plenty of space and did not feel overcrowded.

Facilities were some of the best I've used at a UK campsite. Wash facilities were cleaned daily. Shower water pressure varied a bit depending on the time of day, but that is the only criticism I can identify!

The shop was excellent... Very well stocked and had everything we needed. We found no need to visit any other shops during our stay. Fast food facilities were also varied and very good (sandwiches, burgers, hog-roast coffee, wood-fired pizzas).

This year there was entertainment in the Top field and the atmosphere on the campsite was great. Local beaches at Studland are perfect and Corfe Castle is a great place to visit. Swanage is just down the road and is a great seaside town. There are lovely cliff walks and quaint local villages in the area. The Swanage steam railway is amazing. A very family-friendly site set throughout several fields attached to a working farm.

The site itself was mostly flat, and drained quite well (tested during very heavy rainfall on one of the days we stayed!).

Site is very picturesque, with cows and pigs that can be visited. Geese, ducks, and peacocks all roam the site at their leisure, which the kids loved!

Facilities included toilets, showers, farmshop and launderette were all well-appointed and clean. The shop sells a very wide selection of items (far better than most campsite shops), from food to toiletries and camping equipment. Items are expensive, when compared to the supermarkets, but with the nearest one of those several miles away (Sainsbury's in Wareham) you're paying for the convenience.

The site also has live music a couple of nights per week. There is a 'country kitchen' on-site, serving fish&chips amongst other things. There's also a wood-fired pizza option several times per week and hog roast on the music nights.

There's a lovely 20-minute walk from the site into Corfe Castle, avoiding all roads; it's a bit bumpy/rooty/uneven/narrow in places, but most pushchairs/buggies would cope with a competent driver! It wouldn't be wheelchair suitable, nor for those with mobility difficulties.

Norden Station is also a 10-15 walk away, where you can catch the steam train (passing through Corfe Castle) to Swanage - an expensive indulgence, but well worth it, in my opinion.

The site benefits from easy access to several footpaths and bridleways that access the purbecks. It's very easy to make a 4 - 5 mile loop from the site out over the hills, through Corfe Castle and back - perfect for running or walking.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site. I've used the C&C club site between Corfe Castle and Church Knowle before and, whilst smaller and quieter, the Norden site was significantly cheaper and offered much better value for money....Read less.

This was the first time we had ever been camping for full week. It had come recommended from friends who have been twice previously. This place is quite far from home and we’ve never been before. The campsite itself is beautiful and has amazing surroundings. The facilities on site are good. The shop has everything you need and more and the staff in there are amazing and very helpful. The ground staff however aren’t as polite. Previous campsites we have been to have offered a range of evening entertainment, tractor rides around the park, a burger van that was on site for breakfast lunch and dinner permanently and other outdoor activities such as boules. I feel this would keep children more busier rather than investigating around the farm to areas out of bounds....Read less.

We had a grass pitch with electric hookup. The pitch was very large, taking our 6 person tent and car with plenty of room to spare. All electric pitches are flat with 2 excellent shower/toilet blocks in close proximity. These facilities are thoroughly cleaned every day. Every morning there was a van selling breakfast rolls. This van also sold food in the evening and a van selling freshly made pizzas is on site a couple of days a week. This is very much a family site with silence required after 11pm which was the only slight downside for us but did not take anything away from our enjoyment of the campsite. An easy, off-road path takes about 30 minutes to walk to Corfe Castle leading directly from the campsite. We will definitely be returning to this site in the future....Read less.

We enjoyed a live celtic band on our last night and ate fish and chips from the onsite food van. Also available was wood fired pizza, grilled cheese and hog roasts.

Our boys enjoyed the football field while the parents washed up!

The only thing we didn’t like (NOT THE CAMP SITES FAULT) was one of the days a camper van pitched up behind us and played music loud all day up until 10:30 that evening.

Not easy to get a 2 and 4 year old asleep in a tent with loud music playing.

We picked the site as we had used it before. Great amenities and lots of improvements since our visit last year. A great place to stay but two areas of concern. 1 there was a drone flying overhead which compromised the security and privacy of site users, and 2 there were frequently dogs off leads on the site. We had 2 dogs with us and understood that the site rule was they must be on a lead at all times as it is a working farm and children are about, etc. We only saw one notice, There should be lots of notices reminding people of this important rule, it should be mentioned on arrival that this needs adhering to, and staff should tell people to put their dogs on leads. If campers will not stick to the rule they should not be allowed to stay on site....Read less.

My parents recommended this site as they stay in their motor home on one of the electric hook up fields. I decided to join them for a long weekend and they booked me in to the end field as I didn’t require electricity. However, I didn’t realise I was signing up to camp in a noisy field that seemed to be a free for all for school grps and huge family gatherings..... the sign saying singles and grps near the entrance seemed to be ignored. The field over the fri-Sunday felt like I was at a festival that I hadn’t signed up for.

Your camp rules seemed to be ignored by most with regards to noise after 11pm and supervision of children. I nearly had multiple small children unsupervised on bicycles collide with my car (going at 5mph) in the single track road between the end field and the camp shop...... no parents in sight!

My relaxing long weekend was disappointing and I won’t be recommending or returning to your site..... unless it’s for a family gathering or party weekend with my mates. As I now know from experience that this is allowed on your site.

It may be something to think about, have you ever considered having Donkey field as an adult only area ?

We had a great time but would be put off coming back by children playing ball games(hitting our caravan) throwing frisbees and riding their bikes close to our caravan.

We also had an incident while we were out one Saturday morning. We had shut our awning door to try and stop leaves etc blowing in. When we returned there was a party balloon in there. We know that a group of families had balloons so we believed that someone had entered our awning during our absence. There was no way that had blown in, especially as we had a dog enclose around it.

This was reported at the time. We also had a group of children the night before around the back of our caravan staring in.

One of the group members next to us was so close to our caravan their guide rope for their awning were under it.

Not sure what happened about the 6 metre rule !

It was a lovely site with great views and easy access to Corfe Castle etc.

I would be interested in your thoughts....Read less.

First time at Norden Campsite very pleased, very clean, Overall exceeded my expectations however, I booked three tents for my family which counted as a group, so we were put in the group grass field, we consisted of 2 OAP’s 4 Adults 2 under 4 and a 16 month baby, being put in a group grass pitch meant loads of older children’s noise which went well up to 10.30 pm in the evening and noise early in the morning cooking and packing up as they seemed to be adventure scouts. it’s not just children noise but leaders shouting at the scouts.

We will return as it is a brilliant campsite but I will booking separately for each of the tents. we might not get pitched together but should be less noisy.

The event field had a brilliant band and a hog roast which started a great weekend...Read less.

Norden Farm is a lovely campsite with great facilities. We stayed in the "Top Field" with a large group and there was plenty of space, despite the campsite being quite busy. The field is flat and not at all stony - easy to push pegs in - and protected from (most) prevailing winds by the surrounding hills.

In the height of summer a few more trees in the Top Field would be welcome to provide some shade.

We were in the area to go sailing and do other watersports at Studland, but could have stayed at the campsite all day on not got bored.

We easily managed the off-road walk to Corfe with a pushchair and balance bike - just a little assistance needed In places. So exciting for the little ones to take the steam train from Corfe to Swanage and enjoy the sun, sea and sand.

Perfect weather meant the site was full, but there were always staff around keeping everything clean and running smoothly. There was always an abundant supply of toilet paper - which is the acid test as far as I’m concerned!

I arrived without a booking to stay for just one night of a hot and sunny weekend in June. The site was very busy but the staff were friendly and welcoming. They explained that they encourage groups and single people to camp on different areas of the field thereby trying to maintain peace and quiet for those who want it: this was respected by most and seemed to work well. I loved the fact that it was a working farm with the traditional & modern sheds and outbuildings still visibly in use, some brimming with old tractors carts and farm implements. The showers and toilets were very clean and the showers were hot and powerful. The shop was well-stocked. The site was convenient for Studland Bay where I was taking part in an open water swim, and there was a pleasant short walk into the village of Corfe where I ate good food at a pub recommended by site staff. There was a blackcap singing from a tree close to my tent most of the time and in the middle of a hot Saturday afternoon, whilst resting in my tent, the unexpected sound of galloping hooves just outside proved to be coming from a beautiful fallow deer, a fully-grown doe which looked as startled as I was before it bounded gracefully across the site between cars, tents and campers and leapt back out over the boundary fence. I would definitely recommend the site and plan to visit again....Read less.

We visited in June and really loved Norden Farm and its facilities, the bonus for us was the Dog Wash room which is really needed after the little darlings have rolled in something disgusting. We couldn't fault the site or the facilities they were clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful, there was even a disabled shower room. The mini garden centre was well stocked and remarkably cheap. The camp shop was also well stocked with everything you would need. the only problem we had were the weekends from Friday to Sunday when the site became very noisy and a little chaotic with families camping for the weekend. People were using the small hand basins in the toilets to brush their teeth, the basins were not big enough - However, there were facilities in the shower rooms to wash and brush teeth, but instead we had to fight hoards of children and adults to wash our hands after using the loo (not to mention the toothpaste left everywhere). We had children playing football all around us from early morning to late at night. There is an allocated ball games field, but it was easier for some of the parents to keep an eye on the kids if they played near to where they were camping. One family even told their own children not to play near their tent and go a bit further away (and basically bother someone else). Footballs, Balls and dogs were coming into our awning and dining area, there were Duke of Edinburgh award groups running around and shouting in the lane behind our caravan till very late at night. We were frightened to light the BBQ as we weren't sure if it would be knocked over by a football or a child coming down the hill at speed on their bike. We had dogs who were always kept on a lead at ALL times, both within our camp and around the site in general. but this rule didn't seem to apply to everyone, we rounded up more than one dog who came into our awning looking to play with our dogs. All in all if you want peace and tranquillity this isn't the site for you. If we visit the area again, I don't think we would use this site. The facilities are not worth the noise and hassle....Read less.

Lovely site, we camped for a week on a non-electric tent pitch, the camping field was large and spacious, particularly liked that they tried to encourage groups to camp together on one side of the field and singles to camp on the other to avoid an disturbance - this worked really well. The facilities were always clean and we didn't have to queue up to use. The onsite farm shop was well equipped and reasonably priced. Being a working farm there were farm vehicles around and about during the day, it was lovely to see the geese and peacocks out and about strolling around the farm buildings near the shop.

My daughter and myself have been camping in a tent for about 19yrs. Norden is bigger than our normal choice of site but there was plenty of space.

Reception is in a very well stocked and very fairly priced shop.

Peacocks and farm animals add charm to the site.

Plenty of showers and toilets and even though the site was fairly busy the staff worked very hard to keep everything clean and tidy . Even if this means checking everything at 9.30p.m (which happened one evening after a particularly busy day with a group of well behaved teenagers arriving).

Washing up facilities were some of the best, situated inside the building with plenty of windows so whatever the weather you are sheltered. ( not just some sinks put onto the outside with a half roof as an after thought)

There is a pleasant walk to Corfe , with views of the castle, which takes about 20 mins. from the site. Here there are several pubs offering food. Some obviously better than others.

Plenty to do in the area unfortunately not enough time to do it all. We will just have to go back.

We were recommended this site and tried to book in last year, but it was partially flooded at the time and was therefore unavailable on the dates we required. This year we needed a couple of days away and hurray I was able to book in. We arrived around 2pm on the Saturday and were all packed up ready to leave on the Monday morning, but in that short time we had managed visits to Corfe and it’s castle and took an enjoyable trip to Swanage via the steam railway which is very close by. The site itself we found friendly and clean great when you only have a short time to settle in....Read less.

We had a great time. The campsite allocated us pitches so that four units could have fun together. We were an assortment of tents and caravans. The washing and toilet facilities were kept clean, and there was plenty of hot water in the showers. One of the group had never camped before and is now looking to get a tent!! We were blessed with glorious weather. The five boys in the group ranging from 2 to 11 found plenty to entertain them with the playpark and animals to be looked at.. The shop was extremely well stocked and competitively priced. We enjoyed meat from here for our celebratory barbecue. It was a great weekend for us all with ages ranging from 2 to 70!! I certainly would like to return with my caravan....Read less.

Very lucky with weather. Perfect campsite for short weekend break, easy 20 minute walk into Corfe. Camp shop well stocked and prices are not hiked. Lots of shower cubicles so never any queuing. Spent am hour fishing on the small lake, not sure if my poor technique or merkiness of water but not one nibble. The top field is fairly windy as hills create a funnel but parking car in front of tent shielded us from the worst of it. Will definitely return....Read less.

Have just returned from a 7day holiday in our caravan. Chose this site due to previous excellent reviews and the location, nearby to Weymouth, Poole, Bournemouth and Swanage.. It's a working farm and this only adds to it's charm. Pitches are good in size not feeling to close, all facilities were always clean and staff polite leaving us to get on with our holiday.. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again next year.....Read less.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A peaceful site, with plenty of room for children to play in the top field, during our midweek stay. Great to be walking distance to so many child friendly activities. Also enjoyed looking at the animals around the farm. Very well stocked farm shop.

One item that would have made it even better, signage from the top field to Corfe Castle - after looking at an OS map, we took the bridleway at the bottom of the escarpement on day 1, and only discovered the easy footpath (not shown on the map) on day 3!...Read less.

The site was perfect for our walking tour of the Jurassic Coastline. The facilities were more than adequate for such a large campsite. There was never any shortage of hot water. The camp shop was always very well stocked with fresh baking deliveries everyday. Their prices were comparable with many leading supermarkets. All the staff were friendly and informative. If you are camping with children, the working farm is a delight with peacocks and geese wandering freely and a pond area with ducks, swans, moorhens etc. There is also a neat play area and the ability to pet young calves and lambs. A short 20 - 30 minutes off-road stroll took us into Corfe Castle to many fine eating and drinking establishments. Our favourite was the quirky Fox Inn which served delicious food with hearty portions....Read less.
