We stayed here on a very windy evening, and the staff kindly asked us if we would like to move pitches to more on sight and further form the cliffs to prevent us form struggling to sleep, as the wind when in a roof tent can be powerful! we really appreciated this, and had a pleasant stay. the showers and toilets were spacious and clean, located just behind the reception area. The site is set in beautiful contryside, in easy reach of Solva and St Davids. With easy access to the coastal path and beaches. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pitches are sizeable and set upon very well managed grass areas. The amenities are of a high standard and were kept very clean. Dogs are welcomed and well catered for in terms of an easy dog walk route with access to dog poo bins. The site proved to be very good value for money. We definitely plan to return. We spent 3 nights at Llanungar caravan and camping site in our campervan. The pitch was excellent very flat and didn't require blocks to level up. The hook up was close by as was the fresh drinking water tap.

The facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained.

We were met by the site manager who was extremely friendly, she explained everything we needed to know about the site.

Had a very pleasant stay very quiet, other campers respected everyone. Will definitely return to the site as it was easy to access the bus service and coastal path were we did plenty of walking.

We stayed with our two grandsons 10 and 7, we had a brilliant few days. It felt a very safe environment for the boys to play at the campsite and they made some lovely friends too.

The campsite is wonderfully maintained and looked after. The information on how to find the site were clear and we had a warm welcome when we arrived. The pitch was great although we need to use chocs to be level - most of the other pitches looked flat. Not a problem for us. Easy wander to a nearby cove - for an early morning dip and we cycled to St David’s, St Justinians & Whitesands. We walked into Solva, which is a lovely village, where we got a bus to Newgale for a beach sauna and dip. Perfectly positioned site.

Brilliant time staying at Llanungar.

On arrival a fault with my campervan resulted in so many offering to help me, jump cables, kindness, torches… so grateful!

I stayed on the paddock, which has brilliant accessibility to the airfield to walk the dogs. The dog poo bin nearby is also so handy.

The facilities are amazing, the freezer for freezing chill blocks, the toilets, showers and washing area, it has everything you need.

I may suggest that a fence post to mark out each paddock pitches would be a good idea when busy, as my final night another campervan parked far too close, but I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want it to be awkward.

Would I return… 100%! It’s suitable for families, dogs, adults alone, and has great access to Solva/St Davids, access to the coast path and comes with sea views.

We will be back.

I have been camping down at Llanungar for the last few years after my family outgrew the caravan. I cannot fault the facilities or hospitality one bit, every visit is just as pleasant as the last.

The campsite is in an ideal location, roughly 5/10 mins either side of Newgale beach and St Davids, with Solva also being a nice length walk away.

I love the place, almost feels like a second home in the summer and I always look forward to returning. I would never consider staying anywhere else when visiting West Wales.

Loved staying here, stayed on my own and felt safe, pitch was a great size, the block was always clean and had everything you needed, including wifi, books, extension leads, maps infomation sheets, and a chill room, manager was so lovely and friendly and was always about if you needed her, or just for a chat proper made you feel welcome. The site had easy access to the costal path, Solva via foot and by car, blue lagoon was 14 mins away via car. I will be visiting again for sure, take the family with me maybe next time ...... oh and I miss the cows from the farm behind loved listening to them. Lovely location, you can either take one of the many safe walking routes into Solva, to the coastal path or into St.Davids or taking the car to access lovely local beaches. The site is well laid out with great resources - spotless toilet/shower blocks, dish wash - up area, freezers for ice blocks, laundry facilities, wi - fi cabin with lots of local recommendations for site - seeing, eating, etc. The site staff were fantastic, super friendly and helpful.

Wasup area and laundry area was great. Office open all day with books and puzzles to borrow. Toilets cleaned often throughout the day but flooring was scruffy hence 4 stars, also showers not always hot. Area is amazing with good walks, plentiful crabbing at Solva and good pub food. Great to meet up with the staff here again. Our fourth visit to this lovely site. It was busier this time due to the school holidays but that didn't impact the smooth running of the site. Quite a busy campsite with cars accessing the caravan park part of the site. Camping in the paddock was lovely and picturesque with a view of the sea in parts.

The campground "paddock" is excellent for car camping with a "find a space" mentality, which in my books is 100% the best way to do it.

The walk to Solva town is not to be missed! A fairly flat and spectacular section of the Wales Coast Path. Nine Wells Bay is exceptional for a snorkel or swim at high tide.

The toilet block and communal area were well-maintained and well-stocked.

I will be staying again.

We really enjoyed our week at Llanungar campsite. The staff were friendly & really helpful. The toilets, sinks &showers were spotless & well maintained. Despite there being only two female showers & two male showers, there was never a queue, (& we were there in peak season). There were plenty of toilets. The laundry, & washing up area was also kept clean. We were happy with the relative flatness of the grass pitches without electric. The ground was quite stony for our tent pegs, but the advantage is that if it had rained, it would have drained well.

The campsite and nearby Solva village offer plenty to do in all weathers - board games for kids, handy walking paths, the National trail & local buses to local tourist hotspots. The site is technically wheelchair accessible but the gravelly slope from the main road & to the facilities would make for a very bumpy ride....Read less.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we booked for two nights and added an extra night. The campsite was very well cared for and the showers and toilets were very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The location was perfect, we caught the bus (5 minute) walk from the campsite to Solva, which was beautiful, we had tea and cake by the harbour and wandered around the village, nice selection of gift shops, pubs and restaurants.

The facilities are lovely and clean and always smelt nice, at reception there was a verity of information and also had games you could borrow for the kids to use. We had electric hook up but it you don't there are electric points in reception to use.

The campsite is within walking distance to solva and St David's, we walked the coastal path to both, there is a bus service that drops off and picks up at the end of the campsite lane if you don't want to walk. There is some lovely bar's and restaurants in both Solva a St David's. The campsite and area is picture perfect with sea views. The price is very good for the area, I liked that the pitch was flat, as some other campsites are on a slope....Read less.

This is a well maintained and spacious campsite. It is very well organised and we loved our two nights here. The amenities are great and there is plenty of space for walking dogs, especially at the disused airfield.

We took a stroll down to Solva which is a great place to explore, full of history and a good pint too. We also took a longer walk alog the coastal path to St Davids which was glorious in the sunshine. First time I have seen choughs!

Overall we really enjoyed staying here. The facilities are good, although only two toilets and two showers did mean queuing which was a bit of a pain.

I can see the benefit of having a large grassy area in the middle of the touring site, but that did restrict the number of other guests we could interact with, especially as walking the dog on-site is discouraged.

Good hook-up and water availability, but only two doggy-bag bins and neither in the actual touring area.

Lots of great places to visit within easy reach.

Llanungar campsite is perfectly placed with a 10 minute walk to Solva through some picturesque country lanes in one direction and a 10 minute walk through peaceful green fields to get to the stunning Pembrokeshire coast !

Solva and the coastal path are short walks from the site and there are a couple of nice walking routes to St David’s from the site too. We were royally welcomed by Mark and Ilena. They gave us such good information about the walks around the site. The campsite is ideally situated between Solva and St David's. It is about 30 mins walk into Solva where there are 3 good pubs with great food. You can walk of road as the main road is dangerous! You can take the Welsh Coastal path also - it's 10 minutes from the campsite and you can go east to Solva or west to St David's. You can also get to National Cycle route 4 - 5 mins from the campsite and walk ( 50 mins) or cycle (20 mins) into St David's. Thoroughly recommended - and we have already done so to other campers on our journey....Read less.

Lovely grass pitches with long grass dividers, Good phone signal & WiFi . Clean, toilet blocks, electric showers that stay on with no push buttons - bonus! Excellent info in reception regarding activities & surrounding areas. Close abandoned airfield to run the dogs. Met on arrival, friendly managers . Walking distance to Solva but no pavements , bus, car or campervan needed to St David’s (cycling unsafe) but infrequent timing of buses meant we had to use a taxi. Cons: quite windy( hardly their fault but the site is quite exposed) and only 1 water point....Read less.

As soon as we drove on to the site there was just a real peaceful, calm feeling on there that I struggle to describe - you’ll just feel it! The facilities were simple but very clean and tidy.
