Fab little site perfectly located to explore many of the delights of Pembrokeshire with the Pembrokeshire coast path accessible within a 5 minute walk.

Peaceful and picturesque,just a short walk from the lovely harbour village of Solva. Just a 5 minute drive to Britains smallest City St Davids. Probably 20 beaches within a 30 minute drive.

The site wardens Ilona and Mark are always ready to greet visitors with a smile and have a wealth of knowledge of the local area.

We had a lovely week in August. The pitches are a generous size and as they are around the outside of the field there is a large open space for games to be played. The warden was always around so if you needed anything she was easy to find and friendly. The toilets and showers were very clean.

My partner and I were through hiking the Pembrokeshire coastal path and stayed at Llanungar for one of the nights. The site, facilities, and staff were excellent. Llanungar campsite is a lovely site with plenty of things to do and great access to coastal walks as well as inland walks. Solva is just over 20 mins walk with good places to eat and drink plus the natural harbour.

The site itself is well maintained regularly with relatively flat pitches. Clean toilets and shower facilities with plenty of hot water. Excellent information for the surrounding areas are located next to the office with plenty of maps for some great walks and local attractions.

Staff are alway on hand to ask any questions and assist you with any issues you may have. Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back in the near future....Read less.

Our hosts were amazing. They suggested we could move our car and Tentbox overnight to shelter from high winds and then helped us find, at the last minute, accomodation when the winds on the next night were too high for our roof tent.

They were always on hand if you needed anything!

The toilet block was cleaned throughout the day .

Great laundry and washing up room, portable toilet cleaning facility and wet suit etc cleaning facility.

They have a cabin with local information, plugs for phone charging, detailed walks etc and a table and chairs if you needed to have a sit inside for a few moments!

The pitches are spacious and you are around the periphery.

We did a lovely walk from the site, with our 2 grandsons , age 4 and 7, at the bottom of the campsite road over to a path to the coastal cliffs and hills ....Read less.

Thrilled I could see the sea from the campsite. If you are camping with small children, there isn’t much for them to do at this site, however, beautiful fields to play in. Really well situated, A 20minute stroll into Solva, stunningly pretty. 3 mile or 45minute walk into St David’s, with its cathedral, which is a must. St David’s has greater selection of shops.

The campsite itself I cannot fault, lovely big pitches, a games & information room which is open 24/7 and a clean shower/toilet block. The lady in the office (sorry, didn't get your name) was so lovely - she gave me some bubbles for my little ones when we arrived and was very attentive making sure we were safe as there were unfortunately very high winds when we stayed, so we actually made the decision to leave early.

Unfortunately, there isn't a great deal in the immediate area. You can walk down to Salva (steep walk back up to campsite), where there are a few small shops, pubs & cafes and a Quayside. But once you've been down there once or twice, you've kind of seen all there is to see.

There are more places to see if you're happy to travel and there's lots of information in the games room about these places. So as long as you're happy to jump in your car and travel for day trips, then you should find plenty to see and do....Read less.

This was our second visit. On our first a couple of months before, our awning was torn to shreds by a gale. It’s worth realising that this is a very exposed site and you need to make adjustments accordingly. Otherwise it’s fairly perfect – a few minutes from solver, a few more to Saint David’s. A great place for touring, especially if you don’t know Wales

Facilities are good and excellently maintained with one caveat: there it’s not a disabled persons shower/toilet. In fact, a wheelchair user would find the facilities difficult to use. We’ve mentioned this, obviously not something to correct instantly – but perhaps the winter break might provide a way of doing it. It really is essential.

Great site, great location, wonderful staff who go the extra mile, just missing that wheelchair friendly facility.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in August.

Initially in the "paddock" but decided to see if any piches available with ehu.

Elona, the site manager was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to assist us and over the entire stay was helpful, friendly and professional.

Nothing seemed too much trouble.

The facilities were good and the entire site was well kept with the grass well looked after, short, meaning no problems with wet feet in the wet.

The only area that was a slight diappointment was that there was no drive on grey waste water facility.

We have a 60 litre underslung waste tank which would have been very difficult to empty using a bucket or similar.

Other than this, we found the site an excellent base and would certainly stay again and recommend it to others....Read less.

We stayed here for 10 nights again recently. The pitches are a good size and level. The shower and toilet blocks were clean and tidy and the showers were hot. I like that they only put tents, caravans and campers around the edge of fields givig you enough space to play games, which my husband and son enjoyed doing. We had some good sunsets while away and the views were good as well. The wardens were very friendly and helpful and they do an amazing job to keep the site looking so good. Love camping at Llanungar, its a great place to recharge. It's so calm and peaceful, with so much space for each plot. The campsite is well placed to get on the coastal path and there are lovely beaches and coves to explore on foot or further afield. The night skies are glorious from the sunsets to the stars later in the night. The team that run the place are really friendly and helpful and communal areas are kept beautifully clean.

What a wonderful campsite. Perfect location for coastal path walking and Solfach just 20 minutes away. Very helpful staff. Everything thought about and the campsite wasn’t crowded even though it was almost at capacity. Nice size plots. The massive red cherry on top was the free HOT showers that had excellent power. It was misty so we didn't see the sea until the next day. I would image it peaceful to sit looking over the coast.

We were on the meadow and were pitched a long way from the toilet block. It was spotless, with 2 very good showrrs and clean facilities. We would have appreciated the freezer, washing machine and dryer too if we were there for longer. I do wonder if there are enough washing up and shower facilities if more people were staying. Perhaps a small block on the meadow would help?.

Lovely time had in the paddock with another family. Perfect for younger kids who like to run free in a field. The facilities were perfect, even with no electric hook up in the paddock just a short walk to charge things in the reception area. Lovely staff always up for a daily chat and very knowledgeable of the local area. Went to Folly farm which was not too far away and white sands beach which was great for kids and also has a no dog policy. Perfect location to explore surrounding areas such as St David’s. A solo trip for me, to coincide with the Edge Festival in Solva and a few days holiday after. 1st time at Llanungar and also in Pembrokeshire and loved every minute. Peaceful, friendly site and the wardens - Elona and Mark - could not have been more welcoming or helpful throughout the stay. Toilets / Showers very clean and not over-crowded, quiet at night .. I camped on the Paddock (non electric) and felt very safe / comfortable there, good neighbours. The Festival was superb, within 15 minutes walk, as was the local village store. Enjoyed walks along the coastal path to St Davids, days out to Saundersfoot / Tenby / Cardigan and also, more locally - Little Haven Beach (beautiful !). Weather was very kind, so extended the stay by a couple of nights - thanks again Elona ! So much to see and do, will explore some more next time and will definitely be coming back next year. A great spot which I have visited 3 times this summer. Always a friendly welcome and lots of advice for those new to the area. The coastal path is very close so St David's and Solva within easy reach. The facilities are always clean and tidy. The local bus service is excellent and the drivers will drop you off near the camp site should you prefer a ride back.

Another warm welcome at Llanungar. We pitched our vw with awning in the Paddock which is nice and level grass. Close to very clean toilets, showers and washing up facilities. We were given a couple of reserved stakes so our friends could pitch next to us. Site is only short walk to Solva with plenty of pubs and a convenience store. St David's Close by. Llanungar is a small quiet site conveniently situated within walking distance of Solva and the Welsh Coastal Path. The facilities are adequate and are kept clean and tidy with regular visits by the resident staff. Public transport is available at the end of the site drive and comprehensive local tourist information can be found in the site office.

We were greeted by a pleasant smiling warden who made sure that we had everything that we needed. We already knew which pitch we were on due to the helpful board that informed us as we arrived.

The pitches were a great size and well distanced for privacy and peacefulness.

There were ample toilets that were closely located and they were kept impeccably clean. The site was well located for the coastal walks to Solva and St Davids.

We stayed at 3 campsites over a week and this was by far our favorite. We'd highly recommend to friends and will return in the future....Read less.

Have just returned from 5 nights at Llanungar Caravan and Camping. This was our second visit and we hope to return. Nothing fancy, just a small quiet site. The facilities are well looked after, field kept mown, the warden friendly and helpful and a reception area full of suggestions for walks etc. One of the main attractions for us is its location. A short walk from the site gets you onto the coastal path, with fantastic walks into either lovely Solva or St Davids....Read less.

We had visited Solva in the past and thought the area was worth a longer stay. The Llanungar site was great as a base, Walking from site into Solva was easy and possible over a few different routes--all avoiding the busy direct road. The welcome was very friendly from Elaine and the site facilities were always kept very well. Dog walking from the site was easy with a choice of routes available. One improvement we could suggest is to have a designated play area as the large space in the main field will probably be used for ball games with the consequent risk of damage to tents and caravans....Read less.

Llanungar camping and caravaning is a great site, well kept and maintained by Nathan and his team. The shower/ toilet block was spotless with excellent hot showers

The pitches were spacious and well kept. It rained a little while we were there but the site was still immaculate.

The site is situated just 5 mins walk to the bus stop where you can catch the bus to link all of the Snodonia national park area.

Ther is a pub if you want to pop for a drink 5mins walk away next to the bus stop.

This site is up with the best I have stopped on in the 4 years we have been having travelling holidays in our campervan.

I camped along with my sister and brother in law at Llanungar camp site last week.

We found it a lovely site which was immaculate and very quiet.

The showers were free and lasted as long as you needed. The toilets cleaned frequently and there was never a queue!

We were able to walk into solva which was a beautiful little harbour with good pubs and interesting shops.

I also took the bus to at David’s which stops near the camp site. A smashing week!!...Read less.

We found the location excellent, being out of Solva but within easy safe walking distance of the town which has plenty to offer. The walks from the camp site were spectacular as were the trips to St David’s and Whitesands beach and walks.

The campsite itself is well laid out with the static caravans completely separate meaning the site felt intimate and spacious even when full at the weekend.

We spent a couple of nights here and it was fabulous. The pitch was wide and airy so we didn’t feel hemmed in. We loved the quirky parts to the grounds. The toilets and shower areas were up there with the best we have seen and we have camped a long time.

Overall a fab site we will return to and have already recommended to family.

The site is situated close to some great days out and the added bonus of such a delightful tearoom serving cakes and meals just adds to the overall enjoyment.

The site is lovely with good, clean facilities. Nice shower block, chemical waste disposal point, recycling point, washing machine and a community room with lots of information and a kettle! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The site is located just outside of Solva, about a twenty five minute walk down to the harbour and shops/restaurants. It is a bit of a climb back up but not too onerous.

All the facilities are in excellent condition. The camping field and grounds are beautifully kept. The site is situated next to a large Nature Reserve,which was former RAF airfield. It is also well placed for connecting with various footpaths and the village of Solva.

My only niggles are, the washing up water could be a little hotter, but may have to comply with regulations of having to be 40C. Being charged £2.00 per night for a dog, when the only facilities are two poo bins, and around £6.00 a night for electric. The difference in cost between the non electric field and the EHU field. We're pushed to use more than £1.50 actual usage per day.This said, we would definitely stay again, so just niggles!...Read less.
