This place is wonderful in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. The staff are so friendly too they keep everything very well presented and clean. The pitch sizes are very generous with plenty of room they keep the middle of the campsite empty so feels very spacious and relaxing with not too many people at one time. We have been many times and will come again for sure.

We stayed in Llanungar just before the heatwave so not the best weather , still managed to be out and about looking at the stunning scenery, lovely walk in to Solva and highlight was the boat trip to Skomer Island from St justinians.

We spent a superb week in our motorhome at Llanungar. The facilities were excellent (WiFi aside) and the pitch was large and level. There are two main options for walking to Solva; the very quiet, direct road route and the quite stunning coastal route, which is well worth an hour of your time! Lovely campsite with clean and tidy facilities, handy for exploring Solva, the coast path and the disused St. Davids airfield, which is a have for birdlife. There is also a nice distant sea view from some of the pitches. The campsite is being run in an environmentally sensitive way to promote nature. My 'even better if' would be to see this taken further with grassy areas established as hay meadow and toilet paper replaced with eco friendly types (such as Naked Paper), as just two examples....Read less.

Really enjoyed everything about this site. Heated shower block. Lovely hot showers all day and night. Super clean. Great location to walk into Solva around back lanes which were much safer than main road. Also walked into st David’s. Site is on bus route also. Super friendly and when reported problem with lights in washing up room they were fixed so quickly couldn’t fault service.

Only negative is if you need/want WiFi stay closer to shower blocks as other side of field very intermittent signal. Didnt bother us at all but worth considering if that’s want you like....Read less.

We really like this site, we have stayed there twice. Ideally located for visiting Solva, which is a 20 minute walk to the harbour. There is a great convenience store nearby and great access to coast walks and cycling routes. The couple that manage the site are really friend and helpful. Llanungar Caravan and camping is a super site. The sites for touring caravans are large and roomy. The toilet blocks are immaculate and a pleasure to use.

Lovely shower rooms with plenty of room and a seat for your dry clothes. Biggest advantage is that there is no cost for using the showers so no running out of hot water at a vital point of the shower. The site was fairly priced and good value for money. We had a beautiful view of the sunset and a short walk to see the sea.

Llanungar is close to Solva a small village with a convience shop with everything you might need. From a fresh crab sandwich to a loaf of bread. The shop also has a post office and hot meals for takeaway. Lower Solva has many shops, pubs, a hotel, food outlets with a resident artist, a fabric artist and sits on the coastal path taking you to Newgale one direction and St Davids the other....Read less.

Just a 25 minute walk to Solva Harbour via the back lane from the site, but with buses stopping right outside the site it's easy to go further afield if you don't fancy the walk on the coastal path.

Clean and well-equipped campsite. Grass is well maintained and flat, so good for tents. Toilet and shower facilities are clean. Access to kettle, laundry and indoor space are a big help if you are on an active holiday as you can grab a cuppa and plan where you are going on the map the night before. The local store in Solva, just 5 mins in the car, serves hot meals to take away. So you get more time to explore the amazing beaches and coastline. Great place....Read less.

I'm self contained so can't comment on facilities except the easy access to fresh water and good, clean cdp. I treated myself to ehu for the 2 days as the nights had turned cold (end of Sept) as it was reasonably priced. Nice lady warden who keeps on top of things. Very peaceful at night (tues/weds). Off lead walk around old abandoned airfield from site was just over 3 miles or shorter. Can also walk to Solva and coastal path. Only con is the charge for dogs which I abhor, I think the first should be free as my dog is my number 2 in the van being a single traveller....Read less.

The village of Solva is an easy 20 minute walk away and can be accessed without having to walk along busy roads or muddy footpaths, which is a bonus in rainy weather. A lovely quiet, well maintained site with very clean facilities. Pitches are well spaced out. The warden was extremely friendly and welcoming. Lots of local information in the park office with a variety of walks, places of interest and bus timetables. It is only a short walk along a quiet lane to Solva where there is a very well stocked village shop, various pubs, cafes and a lovely harbour. It is also an easy walk to the Pembrokeshire coast path from the site. It is possible to plan your walk around the local bus services which will stop on request at the bottom of the lane to the campsite. It is definitely a site we will return to if we are in the area again....Read less.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay despite the weather being showery and windy. We made the most of our time while the weather was dry. We couldn't fault the facilities. The showers and toilets were very clean and tidy so we didn't use the shower in our caravan. We had unlimited hot water which was so nice as a lot of sites charge extra for showers and you only have so long to have a shower and wash your hair. This was such a treat! This was our third visit to this lovely site. The level grass site is very well maintained with well spaced pitches and the central area provides a safe haven for kids to play in. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and there is a ‘common room’ for wet weather shelter. The staff are always on hand and are very helpful and friendly. The very well stocked local shop is within easy walking distance and Solva village with its many pubs, cafes etc is a mile down the road. Short walk (20 mins) to Solva habour out through site. Cross road at entrance to site and pick up coastal path to St David's 1 hour 30 mins or left towards Solva. Also inland walk to St David's off main road 55 mins. Lovely walk behind campsite up to St Davids airport and stones ( their not ancient). Free showers, access to freezer for ice packs and kettle. Wash room and toilet block is spotless. Lovely pitches we also had electric.

This is one of our favourite sites in West Wales.

The toilet/shower block were kept clean. There is a walkway into Solva which is accessible for walking,bikes and pushchairs . We were one of four families who stayed. It was easy check in and were all on pitches together so felt we could make the most of our evenings when the kids up and playing and once they had gone to bed.

There is a lovely large area for the kids (and bigger kids) to kick a ball around or have a game of cricket. The facilities were always stocked and clean.

We appreciated we were allowed bbq's and campfires as this isnt always the case in some sites....definitely needed for a couple of the colder evenings....and some smors!

We found the campsite to be in a great location and with the further benefit is the path into Solva so we could safely head to the pub.

We spent two nights in our tent with our two grandsons at Llanungar last week. We all had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful camp site. It is managed superbly. We had a lovely welcome at check in! The pitches are a generous size and well spaced out. Having seen some of the other sites, rammed with tents we loved the space and openness of the site. It is definitely Dan and Rachel’s USP! The facilities were kept very clean.

This was our second time here, it is so quiet and relaxing. The pitches are big and level and the grass is well cared for. The shower blocks, wash room etc are all spotlessly clean. It's a 10 min walk to the local shop and 20 mins down to the harbour. A fantastic little sight and it won't be long before we return....Read less.

We stayed for 12 nights in the electric camping field. Large pitches. The site wardens were incredibly helpful lots of local knowledge for walks and activities.

The information area has lots of information, jigsaws, board games, books, dvds which would be great for rainy camp days.

Toilets spotless. 2x showers in the ladies, 2x in the men’s- both clean.

Wash up room and laundry was always maintained to a high standard. The washing machine is £4 which we used twice. Dryer great, accepts 20ps for 3 mins.

We walked to Solva everyday- the road walk or the coastal path are both pleasant and we did with a 5 year old without complaints despite it being very hilly particularly the walk home.

Check the tide times, at low time we managed beach time and a swim. High tide we used the crab lines very successfully.

Local shop bay view has most items you would need and lovely fresh items.

I stayed at this campsite solo to walk the coastal path. I felt safe here and with the tent field not being to big it wasn't overcrowded and was really quiet which is what I wanted. The facilties were clean, really helped that there was a kettle there.

The winds had got quite high on one day and the staff were nice enough to ring me and say that my tent wasn't looking too good and if I needed help to let them know.

You can get on to the coastal path 5 minutes away from the campsite so was nice to leave the car at the site

Would recommend this site and would like to stay again.

I loved the peaceful and quiet location, both on site (non EHU camping field) and surrounding area. Walking distance of Solva, and excellent road access to many coastal walks, St David's, Fishguard etc. Freedom to choose our own pitch. Cleanliness of bathroom areas. Friendliness and diligence of the hosts. Access to customer lending library.

The middle of the night walks to the bathroom! 950 steps return trip, so I'd usually completed 1000 steps+ before we'd even got up in the morning! :) But since the focus of our holiday was walking, I can't really complain.

If your idea of camping is keep it simple but spotlessly clean, then this is the campsite for you. No frills, but everything you need, well thought out and obviously managed by people who know what campers want. Great spot for exploring the local area on foot or by bike with a couple of beaches close by. My only criticism is another shower would be useful in high season, but having said that I chatted to some lovely friendly fellow campers while we all patently waited our turn, so it wasnt actually that much of a negative!...Read less.

When we arrived we were amazed at the amount of space each pitch offered. It was lovely watching the children playing football and other games on the massive green in the centre.

My 2nd visit to Llanungar, originally booked for 5 nights but extended to 7 nights and still didn't want to go home ! Solva never disappoints and the campsite is only 10-15 minutes walk away. I enjoyed the coastal path walks, a local festival, lovely St Davids, the beach at Abereiddy and a day trip to Tenby / Saundersfoot. The facilities onsite are excellent, the camping pitches well spaced and the toilets, washroom, showers are super clean. All made for a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday - many thanks once again to Elona and Mark, the site managers, who are friendly, helpful and do a brilliant job. Stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent hosts/wardens and we really enjoyed our stay.

Facilities are good and cleaned often - although if busy there can be a wait for showers/toilets - but only happened once to us in August holidays, so not a massive issue.

Our pitch was on the paddock - mostly flat and close to a tap. We enjoyed the views and it was a really peaceful site.

The walk to Solva is about 15-20 mins on quiet roads and is downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back.

Really nice spot to spend a few days. If we are every back this way we'll return for sure!...Read less.

If you're looking for a nice and quiet campsite that is really well located to visit the areas in north Pembrokeshire then we can thoroughly recommend Llanungar campsite. There is able space and the facilities were excellent. If you're bringing children, the field was very safe for them to play in. Solva is a short walk via the farm. Also it's easy to pick up the Pembrokeshire coastal path which is approximately 20mins walk from the campsite. We had a lovely and friendly welcome by the site manager and owners and felt very much welcomed. The facilities were cleaned multiple times a day and not too much of a walk from the camp. While we were there, everyone was respectful of the noise curfew at 10pm therefore making our visit a truely lovely and rememberable stay.

Lower Solva is a beautiful natural harbour to visit with plenty of restaurants and pubs. We thoroughly recommend Hats & Barrels to eat. A vibrant and modern bistro/pub with a fantastic menu to match. Thoroughly recommend....Read less.

There are great facilities for hikers, including plugs to charge your devices and a room to sit in during the evening if it's cold or rainy.
