Only one suggestion would be to not have the waste bins located below the balcony to the van being one of the top line vans, bit smelly when sitting outside as they are very close.
Maybe relocate them to the far side of the carpark ?...Read less.

This is a very good place to stay, staff very friendly, very clean site and very good value for money, you have a lot do around the area and the bars if you wanted to visit them are all welcoming for your dogs, we stayed in number 39, the only thing I would suggest is the kettle needs to updated, very old and had limescale, so to make a coffee we had to boil water in the saucepan, apart from that everything was great and had all the rest of the facilities we needed for our stay....Read less.

The cafe/bar was disappointing as said dog friendly but wasn’t allowed inside which we were not aware of and going in March meant sitting outside was rather chilly

Local attractions such as Cheddar Gorge and caves, Burnham on Sea or Weston-super-Mare are all easily accessible. For the more adventurous Bristol is about 30 minutes by car and the fossil coast at Kilve , again 30 minutes, is well worth a visit....Read less.

With mental and physical disabilities, going on holiday here is made really easy as the site is well designed and care is clearly taken to cater for people like me with easy parking and an easily accessible restaurant. We love the Sundowner, especially the doggy ice creams! I recommend Beachside for a relaxing and comfortable stay with excellent welcoming service and litter-free beach and site. I find the caravans to be of a high standard and are clean and maintained.

I have come here twice a year for 12 years for a short break. Love the seaview caravans and this year having a proper balcony was amazing the dogs were safe on it and we love to be right on the beach where the the dogs have freedom. Everything is close by and the sundowner is lovely.
Only moan- the beds aren’t made up even in platinum caravans so I bring my own bedding to save time.

Kate tried to help us in every way but it did work out quite expensive for our extra night. We are grateful for the ability to change though as it was last minute. The mattress we was given for £10 a night was not a ‘pull down bed’ but a very thin and very basic mattress. The boys were unable to sleep on. I would recommend a much better option ( use if a sofa bed oerhaps)...Read less.

Only issue for us was that the bed was a lot firmer and smaller than we're used to, but this won't stop us returning next time we are in Brean.

Our decking to the caravan didn’t seem secure felt like it was going to fall through and struggled to shut the gate.
The net curtains in the caravan had been removed, this took away all privacy and meant that we had to keep the curtains shut at all times.
The resturant on site, again staff are great and the food is fabulous, but again needs updating the roof leaked in the outside part to sit with dogs,therefore this wasnt possible.
We have visited on many occasions over the last 6 years but this year we were disappointed....Read less.

I booked this Caravan at pretty much the last minute as I was heading down to Brean with a group of friends, I decided that I wanted my own space rather than to share and be cramped in other accommodation as we had late additions to the trip. I only wanted something simple to do the job as I would be out most of the time, on arrival I was actually quite surprised at how nice this caravan was, the facilities it had and how clean it was. All guests and staff at the site were friendly, I felt safe and secure when walking around late in the evening, I know Brean very well so knew about the location attractions, activities and restaurants all of which are very good/entertaining, the only thing I would say was not perfect for me was the bed, it was comfortable but very cold meaning I had difficulty sleeping (however I always do when away from home) so could have been combination of the two.

The beach was our main interest but we also visited Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Weston (including the helicopter museum) and a Cider farm.

We are due back beginning of November to stay in Mendip Lodge for our 25th wedding anniversary, as Brean is where it all began for my husband and I 34 years ago aged 17. Good parking, play area, great access to the beach, small cafe bar on site. Caravans are big enough and equipped for 2 adults and 3 children aged 9, 13 &15 -we had a Platinum.
A short walk takes you to pubs for food, a theme park, Splash pool & soft play. A bus route is near too. There is some convenience stores for essentials about 10 mins walk, Morrisons daily. Good weather again too!...Read less.

I have stayed at Beachside 4 years on the go and have already booked for next year love the location so near the beach with no road to cross and it's not far to the livelier side of holidaying but can come back to the sanity of Beachside as I love the quietness of the park.
My grandchildren love being able to play in the park and on the field if we are not on the beach gives them a sense of freedom....Read less.

So a bronze would not necessarily be smaller than a platinum but it would be older. I'm sorry you were misinformed about the on-site cafe, they do only have live music on a weekend. Caravan was clean and quiet good, however, living room space was nice and comfortable, decent TV on rainy days, WiFi kept going off line, kitchen was well appointed, just lack of sink plug, bathroom area was clean, tap fitting was loose so when you turned on the tap the whole tap rotated on the sink, shower unit was a bit clostrophobic, and nowhere to put soap or shampoo, needs a tray, bedroom was clean, but space around the bed was very restricted I bruised my legs many times, I know it's only a one bedroom Caravan but we found it very restricted in certain places, I would recommend but go for the next size up . I have disabilities, I use a mobility scooter and it was a struggle getting up two slopes. Perhaps I should mention that during booking....Read less.
