We stayed here for three nights in November so weather not so good but we did manage to visit the animal prk on site which is fantastic for children and adults. The caravan section is laid out with plenty of room and most pitches are fully serviced. The toilet and showers are immaculate almost new we did not use the other facilities but they looked more than adequate my only grumble is that the chemical waste point is in the open with no roof cover so if it is raining you get wet. This is a great site well placed to explore the Cotswolds....Read less.

Fabulous location in the heart of the Cotswolds - this Farm Park has been really well designed with great attention to detail and high quality facilities. Well maintained and serviced pitches, spotlessly clean and regularly monitored shower and toilet facilities - cosily warm and well flowing hot water.

Beautiful views across the endless farmland, with cute ponies and sheep for great photo opportunities! Plenty of space for children to play safely in the large field nearby.

I was given a very warm and informative welcome on arrival, and the Wardens could not have been more caring and helpful during my stay.

I didn't visit the Farm this time, but will definitely be back next spring with my granddaughter for further fun and exploration!...Read less.

We had a wonderful time at the campsite. We were going to be staying in our own camper but unfortunately it broke down so we booked a shepherds hut. It was beautiful, comfortable beds and wood burning stove. The lights didn't work though as they were solar powered which left us a little in the dark although there was a plug in lamp. The hut itself was a bit of a squash for four of us but it was fun.The toilets and showers according to our grandaughter were the " best I've ever seen". The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly, particularly Amanda who seemed to be everywhere and always smiling! Pumpkin carving and face painting was entertaining. It was a lovely trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at Cotswold Farm Park. The site was clean and well laid out and the facilities were spotless. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the kids really enjoyed the evening activities in the campsite. We thought it was great value for money, especially as we only needed to pay for entrance to the farm park once and could use it for the duration of our stay.

The only room for improvement was the showers - you had to push the button every 15 seconds (I counted!) which if you've got long hair to wash was a total pain. Also the shower head was so high on the wall that the pressure was quite low by the time if hit your head. Also, a play area for kids within the campsite would be great for the future.

All in all a great stay and we'll definitely be back!...Read less.

This is our 6th year of camping at the park, and we think that speaks volumes! We now even stay twice a year! The staff at the campsite are always very friendly and helpful, and they are amazing with the children! This allows the children to have a little bit of independance whether it be getting the wristbands for the day, picking up the bread order, buying treats, or signing in and out the play equipment! There is a great community feeling when the fire pit is lit and all enjoy toasting marshmallows! The site is always clean and tidy with a relaxed nature to it. The farm park itself is totally amazing, and over the years with the improvements that have been made, will continue to move with the times and be such a fun place to be with the added bonus of teaching the children (and adults) a thing or two about farming and rare breeds. This has been for 6 years, and will continue to be a firm favourite with our family!...Read less.

After a day at the farm park, we stayed in a pod. It kept us warm and I was thankful to have brought our own kettle as I would have been really annoyed to have walked all the way to the wash house. It begs the question why the pod can't be closer to the wash house considering everyone else closer is in a caravan and has their own in-house facilities!! We had pizza for tea, it wasn't great, overpriced for the quality, Maghera was missing half of its cheese but it was hot and delivered so once you are at half six on a Sunday night you are not in a position to opt for something else by then. The wildlife walk was delightful and we all slept well. In the morning, we were first in the farm park and we embraced everything on offer. This included four more visits to the tractor driving school for our toddler. We loved the animals, petting a rabbit and a chick, feeding goats, watching the cow being milked, lots of interactive experience. We enjoyed the rare breeds walk feeding the sheep, stroking the piglets and meeting the other animals. We had a bounce on the Pillows and visited the conservation area. We particularly enjoyed digging our potatoes out of the ground and found that very rewarding and memorable. It was a great place to visit for two days and we would return if we lived closer....Read less.

A quiet well situated site that provides very well for the basic needs of Caravans/Campers without the noise, whistles and bells of a holiday park.

Well maintained and almost completely on the flat with a good mix of hard standing, half hard/half grass and grass pitches. Most I think with electric hookup.

There is a small shop with the basics, and a very clean Shower and Toilet block. A small "kitchen" with microwave (a second would be useful) and a fridge, freezer and a washing machine and drier (useful but a bit expensive we thought though) is also available.

Main downside I could see are that while there were freshwater taps at several locations around the site there was only one point for chemical and grey waste disposal.

An excellent base for touring the Cotswolds, our only problem was deciding what to see and what to save for our next visit!

Strongly recommended for your consideration.

This is the third time that we have visited this year, which speaks for itself really. This site is always meticulously cared for, and improves everytime we visit. It is a reasonably new site, and as such is still developing into the finished article. The hedgerows have been planted and are growing nicely, which will enhance the wildlife appeal, as well as improving the visual aspect of the site. The pitches are really spacious, and it is rare, even on club sites, to actually get the 6 metre fire safety clearance that is recommended, but on this one you really do get that distance between units, which is really great. The site is really well looked after by staff who have time for their visitors, and make them really feel welcomed as visitors. The facilities are really clean, and their are plenty for the size of the site. The showers operate on a push button system, but this is not really a problem, although I am aware that some people do complain about having to push a button. There is a good selection of ways to camp, and a new Shepherds Hut has been added to the Glamping Pods that were already there. There is space for tent camping, an area for Caravans and an area for Motorhomes. All the caravan and motorhome places are hardstanding, with EHU, water and waste on each pitch. They are level pitches, which is a real plus. The location is excellent, and within easy distance of many fabulous places to visit. There are interesting things for children to do onsite, and it is good for dog walking. The visitor area is currently undergoing quite a large expansion, and improvements to the café area, which will be ready for the new season in 2019. We are looking forward to seeing the finished article when we visit next spring....Read less.

We stayed at Adam Henson's Cotswolds Farm Park from 28th to 30th September, for 2 nights/3 days. Upon arrival, we were both stunned at how immaculate and well kept the site was. My wife and I use to camp many times when we were younger, and we can both say with certainty this was one of the nicest, cleanest, well kept campsites we've ever stayed at. We were so blessed with the weekend's weather as it allowed us to explore the local area and its walks/pubs. The wildlife walk attached to the campsite is fantastic. Plus points

• Good location & Easy booking process

• Lovely site with friendly site staff

• Lots to do for families on site with the farm park next door (this wasn’t really of interest to us though)

• Pastries for breakfast are included which I didn’t know about and you are asked your preference on arrival – this was a ‘delight’ moment!

Minus points

• No windows or any ability to see outside! Really felt claustrophobic to be in the tent. This is the biggest minus point for me

• W/site made it look like the safari tents had their own kitchen area but this turned out to be a communal kitchen shared with 6 tents and two shepherds huts

• Total lack of your own facilities/comfort within the tent, it was just a large tent with a bed! I would have expected either a TV with DVD player or Ipod doc, fire pit (I’m sure they said it had this on their web info), sofa or chair as a bare minimum you could only sit on the bed.

• Too many tents too close together – they aren’t soundproof so you are very subject to your neighbours noise

Basically its a nice site but I didn't like the safari tents at all and wouldn't return to them....Read less.

It’s ok, the tents are very nice, but..... I felt that they were very expensive, basically it is just a tent and although you have a kitchen attached to the glamping area the cups were stained and apart from a toaster, a kettle and a gas barbecue there were no cooking facilities in the glamping kitchen. No oven or hob and no microwave. The washrooms were lovely, very warm and kept exceptionally clean, but a fair distance from the glamping tents, which is difficult at three o’clock in the morning. It’s a lovely site, just feel that the glamping tents are overpriced. They could also do with a porch or somewhere to put dirty boots etc, you walk straight In To the carpeted tent. And also perhaps a small chest of drawers, there is nowhere to put anything so you are literally living out of you bag if you can’t hang it up on the few coathangers that are there. The staff are lovely, really polite and really friendly and approachable....Read less.

Pitches are well defined and of a good size. Very nice walk, leaving from the site. Site shop was well stocked and offered take out pizzas and fresh pastries to pre order for breakfast. My only criticism is the quiet hours.. 10pm to 8pm. We stayed just after the schools returned and over the weekend, so to have someone knock on the awning at 10.10pm, asking us to turn our background music down was a bit disappointing, particularly as it really was background music and by no means loud. Also, having to vacate your pitch by 10 30 am was too early. If you can't make a noise until 8am and want to eat breakfast before you pack up, it's a real rush to be off the pitch by 10.30am!...Read less.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second glamping trip to the farm park. It was so nice to be able to take our two pre-schoolers away camping for a few days without having the faff of putting up our own tent. A few things have changed from last year and the introduction of tasty pastries for breakfast was a hit. The toilets and showers continue to be in excellent condition and our tent was beautifully made up before we arrived. The table and chairs outside our tent were a little small and uncomfortable and tricky to eat dinner from but we just used a picnic blanket instead which was fine.

To improve further it would be lovely to have some children's play equipment like a slide/swings/etc on the campsite. We would also like to see some solar lighting along the bank between the glamping tents and the rest of the campsite to make it easier to navigate to the toilets at night. We also missed the fairy lights that were around our glamping tent last time.

Overall though we had a fab time with our 1 and 4 year old and will definitely be returning next summer....Read less.

We recently visited the farm park for a weekend camping with friends and family and had a great time. The new facilities and layout of the campsite are a good addition including a kitchen for those 'non electric' campers . Compact campsite. Neatly arranged and reasonable sized pitches, but given the size of some tents and having to park your car on the same pitch it got cozy in places. On site shop is good stocking fresh local provisions wine and beer and can serve pizzas to your tent and fresh baked pastries. Pizzas were excellent. Communal camp fire was brill, providing a nice mini social gathering point and marshmallow roasting facility. Other plus points are good clean shower/toilet/washing up block, big playing field, adjacent farm yard animals to feed. Did feel the prices in the shop a bit on the high side, but overall, given the very high standards and facilities overall the prices are probably justified. We had a superb time - especially our 6 year old daughter. We would unhesitatingly visit agian and happily recommend it especially for those staying with children. Price for admission was steep when compared with similar sites across the country - it's a farm.

The site is relatively flat with lots of camping room on your allotted pitch. On site facilities are relatively new and of a high standard. Separate play field for those wanting to play ball etc. Adjacent to Adams Farm which is a fantastic experience for young and old. There is also has a café which is outside of the Farm, so you can visit it even if you don't visit the Farm. For families the Farm is an ideal way for young and old to get up close with animals and learn about them and farming; there is a one off fee to get into the Farm which is valid for your camping stay, there are no "hidden extras" whilst in the Farm, apart from food for the animals. The site is also ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area, which has a lot of interesting places to visit.

There are also walks available from the Site.

The only criticism is that the Sat Nav does not take you to the Camp Site, so when a couple of mile out take notice of the signs to the site and disregard what your Sat Nav says.

The fact that the numbers are limited means it is never over busy and the facilities are great/super clean and well looked after, this shouldn't change as it will put people off if you just start piling people into the field at the top to make money

our pitch was a great size enough for our caravan, awning and car, and space to sit outside on the grass beyond the awning. The campsite reception was very welcoming. Pizzas can be ordered here for delivery to your pitch which were delicious. What could have been a very pleasant weekend was totally spoiled by the attitude of the camp staff. I am a 63 year old fairly conservative (small c) man who came to the park for a quiet weekend with my daughter and grandchildren. I was in a caravan and my daughter et al were up in the camping end of the site. On Friday night at about 2015 one of the camp staff came to my caravan and asked for the radio to turned down. We were listening to Friday Night is Music night on Radio 2. Hardly Rock and Roll I think you will agree. Saturday was spent enjoying the delights of the area, animal park etc and the children loved it. However at 2215 on Saturday night the Camp Commandant approached our awning and told us in no uncertain terms to keep the noise down. Three of us were sat having a chat, there was NO rowdiness. When challenged the staff member stated rudely and in no uncertain terms that we "knew the rules". We were aware of the "quiet camp" after ten but foolishly had not realised this meant absolute silence. What's more when I walked my daughter back to her tent there was a family group next to her tent with a party in full swing who had not been reprimanded in any way. Next morning I spoke personally to the people around us, in the next tent and also a caravan opposite us and they had not heard us at all.

It would be helpful to brief your staff that people on the campsite are on holiday and not prisoners of war, and have paid for the priviledge of being there.

Need less to say there are many hundreds of caravan park/campsites across the country and I will never come to you again and neither will anyone that I can tell of my experience.

We had a wonderful time in the glamping pod at Cotswold farm park for 2 nights in August. I would just suggest that the code on the padlock is changed every stay or at least made a bit less obvious than the number of the glamping pod repeated four times! I would also like to suggest that there is hot water in the glamping pod kitchen and possibly also a microwave to at least mirror the facilities of what should be a more basic kitchen for standard campers who pay a lot less. I was also very disappointed to discover that hot breakfast baps were no longer part of the offer for glampers, despite this still being stated on the website. Pastries aren’t exactly a like for like alternative in my opinion. Generally well satisfied a few niggles that took the edge of the clamping. Tent was poorly lit, and heater to small to be of any effect, sadly we had Some cold wet days and nights, the security once inside at night relied on a hook and eye at the top of the door, which was covered up by the material hung on the inside of the tent, in our case the hook was missing totally, The shared kitchen could have been supplied with a microwave and the addition of a draining board a must, there was also problems with campers using the facility due to the kitchens location on the end of the row perhaps it might have been better situated in the middle of the row or the tents fitted with there own kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and cutlery and crockery with the kitchen left for dinning and washing up facilities, this would then solve the problem with the campers. I felt on arrival the information given was limited on the tent it could have been an advantage if you were escorted to your unit and shown the whereabouts of the power reset button, which tripped if the circuit was overloaded and would have saved having to call the staff out go reset.

The camp staff were all very nice and helpful they were often seen around the site checking facilities and ensuring that noise after 10 pm was kept to an acceptable level.

There is plenty of attractions close to the farm park which yes do cost money, but the farm park itself is very much worth a visit, and you get to use the farm park for the duration of your stay after paying once. We will definitely go back in the future and would very much recommend this place. Definite 5 stars!!...Read less.

Thank you for creating the caravan site, so near to the Park Farm, which was incredibly well organised, great for children.

Now.... the campsite. It’s nice, laid out well, but when we were there last week, both the caravan site and tent fields were pretty much full, which made the one facilities block wholly INADEQUATE. Too many people, too few cubicles, both for showers and toilets. What you need is washing facilities for the tent users, as they need more sinks as they, unlike caravanners, have no choice, which means that after using the toilet, there is no sink available to wash hands! Very unhygienic. Another point on the facilities, a strict cleaning time should be adhered to, as two men popping as and when, into the ladies isn’t good. And in fact, this alone would make me not return.

Summing up. Well done on the park and site. Could do much better for facilities. Nice welcome lodge staff. You must sort out either a second campers block or extend the existing for peak times, particularly cubicles with sinks, it’s very unsatisfactory as it is. Have set cleaning times, and don’t have young men in the ladies unless they are closed for servicing....Read less.

The second time we’ve stayed and as always I love the site and the facilities, my girls particularly loved toasting marshmallows over the fire pit and the evening activities sounded fab, sadly we missed the night we were leaving but both children wanted to stay and join in. I love how small the site is and therefore very friendly without being overwhelming for my Autistic daughter. We all enjoy using the playing field and we like that there isn’t a park for children to hang about in as it creates a far happier family atmosphere as we played card, ball and traditional games. My children use the park at the farm if they want to play during opening hours although we heard there was consideration of an all inclusive woodland play area/trail which would be fabulous, as my girls are entering early teens and would like somewhere to explore as they are almost too old for the farm areas aimed at younger children. Also the small ride on tractors freely available around the campsite - toddler and bigger ones (5-8 yr old). We stayed at the camp and purchased the Farm Park passes - we could use the same pass each day - come and go as you please. Money well spent!

My only negative comment is that the campsite is high, so if it was windy, then you will need windbreakers so you can cook. They have got hedges which are only 2 years old so still very open and not much wind shelter.

Appreciate the hedging is still growing but wondered if perhaps particularly for the tent area if you might consider the French hedging which separates each pitch along the sides? We took our two Grandaughters, ages 9 and 4 for a week to this lovely campsite. We were in our touring caravan. We thought the location was delightful. The site staff were very friendly and helpful. No problems getting sited and the facilities were very good generally. They have a pizza service too, with delivery to your pitch from the site reception. A free array of toys to borrow for playing on the onsite field. We will be returning in the future. We paid for site entry to the Farm facilities and then enjoyed free admission all week. Fabulous value for money. The food in the farm shop was delicious and top quality. The only constructive criticism I would like to mention, and I did mention it to staff. If the family bathroom is busy and you have to take a toddler into the regular showers. It would be really helpful to have a removable shower head. Every time I pressed the button for more water to shower my 4 year old Granddaughter I got seriously wet! Having to press it many times per shower for her was a real trial. Being fully dressed myself. The water was a bit hot for her too. A removable head isn't available in the family bathroom so when I did manage to use it I had to rinse her hair using a large jug and the sink. Not a massive issue but for families with toddlers, hard work. This wouldn't stop us going again though. All the farm animals and activities are really great. Thanks so much. We loved our stay at the campsite! We travelled with a 6yo boy and 4yo girl who loved all the facilities at next door animal park - especially the baby goats and bounce pillows. The big play field, huge pitches and great kitchen and bathroom facilities were spot on.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, my son loved the organised mini beast hunt.

My only gripes were the prices in the shop, the showers - too high and even at 5ft7 it took a lot of fine drizzle to wash my hair, and on our last night a noisy group of students stayed in a glamping tent - there was a lot of shouting. But they seemed to quieten about 1030.

We will be back!...Read less.

We couldn't fault our first experience of both campsite and farm. Both were clean, well set out and fun for our family group. Our 4 year old Grandson particularly enjoyed the Maize Maze especially when the Mad Hatter surprised us with water guns!! I was pleased to find the park wasn't too busy and pleased with size of the camping pitch for our camper van it felt nice and spacious.

We stayed for two nights - road testing taking a toddler on a camping trip for the first time. The site is small enough that you don't feel crowded in, but it's very family oriented so there are a lot of kids running around (As they should be on a camp site) but things quietened down by 9pm.

Positives are the location, as well as being next door to the farm park, you're only a short drive to Bourton on the Water in one direction and Stow on the Wold in the other. The wash facilities are newly done and well kept, with push button showers with water on the warmer side. There are washing up, laundry and kitchen facilities available including a freezer, but beware this can get full up very quickly and you might need to do some creative space making to squeeze in your cool blocks. I also felt the freezer didn't freeze very well - maybe people not closing up the freezer properly after themselves? A big plus was the toy tractors dotted around the site for the kids to scoot around on and then abandon for someone else to use. With a tractor mad toddler, they were great entertainment.

Drawbacks were the state of the ground on our pitch, which to be fair was probably down to the dry weather, but it did look like someone had been along digging up the ground leaving a bit of a trench along the middle of the pitch. There was also quite a bit of litter around, which was disappointing....Read less.

The pitches are huge, availablity of children's toys and games, access to huge playing field and wildlife walks. Option of pizzas delivered to your door and ordering fresh pastries for the morning all added to the magic. The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean, even a family washroom and baby bath and step for little ones to reach the sinks, all little touches that make a huge difference. Even the option of kettle, toaster, microwave, washing machine and drier were amazing extras. We have been recommending it to lots of friends. We were extremely pleased with the campsite, one improvement that could be made is that there was no play area for the children to use independantly of the farm park (which is only open from 9.30-4.30). The shop was also very expensive for basic items like milk and bread, I understand these were good quality locally produced items, but sometimes you just want a cheap sliced loaf! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the facilities were great. The children loved the farm park.

Had a very enjoyable four days on a premium pitch. We were looking for a base for a few days before attending BBC Countryfile Live event and stumbled across this site. After reading up on the C&CC website and the sites own website it really sold itself to us. Boy we were so pleased that we booked this site. The campsite is in a beautiful location, surrounded by farmland with well signed directions leading to the camp site. The booking in process was easy and we were shown to our pitch by friendly and welcoming staff.

Once pitched we looked around and found that the site was well looked after, neat and tidy with loads of room between pitches including the camping grass pitches. Our dog Mollie enjoyed the dog walk and the extended country side trail which takes you around fields, through woods and close to the sheep and cows (remember to keep dog on a lead).

The shower block and facilities were extensive and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay and even includes a kitchen area for use by campers and a communal bbq area.

On the Sunday (which was very wet and windy) we asked advice for a pub to go to for a roast dinner. The site staff recommended the Halfway House which was a short drive away. The welcome and hospitality shown there made us feel like locals and the food was first class.

The farm park is a great bonus for animal lovers or younger families as you pay for one entrance and the get in free for the rest of your stay on site. This enabled us to pop in every day even if only for a short period to have a look around and at the animals.

Overall we would very highly recommend this site to everyone as it is truly excellent!...Read less.

Glamping very comfortable and clean

One suggestion would be to have (even) a portaloo open for night use only -wasn't a problem for me but could see (and overheard campers commenting) it would be a long way for full bladders in the night therefore I'm sure some may use a hedge which isn't so good either!

The adjacent farm catered for young children in every way (as well as accompanying adults!). We were made aware that a playground on the campsite is planned in for the future, which would be especially welcome when the farm is closed.

We really only had minor comments to make. The water was very hot indeed. In a period of heatwave, as it was when we visited, it was impossible to have a cool shower - and we did hear families complain that the water in the washing up area was too hot for children to be involved in the family chores.

Secondly, in our view the camp shop was rather expensive compared with other campsites.

Thirdly, we weren't aware of any security barriers - but possibly once the farm was closed these were in place....Read less.

Lovely little campsite! Perfect for a little break away to visit the Farm Park. Shower facilities were extremely clean and some of the best Iv seen on a campsite. The staff were superb and nothing was too much trouble. The lodge has little essentials to purchase (which was perfect considering I forgot my wash bag). Delicious Fresh cooked pizza available, hand delivered to your pitch! You can't ask for better than that! We stayed at the Farm Park because we were visiting friends in the area. The site is great -well designed, well maintained, really lovely and well organised staff. The toilet block is definitely the best one we'd seen. As the mum of an 18 month old the disabled/family shower is really useful and I can imagine it would also be great if you were in solo charge of more than one kid. The fact that facilities like the baby bath were available in the women's AND men's shower block should be commended. The main problem we had was the other guests. We had picked a pitch someway away from the toilet block hoping it would be reasonably quiet but actually several families had booked adjacent pitches, they had a large number of kids ranging from 4-8years old and they were basically left to run wild around the campsite. Because there was a grassy space outside our tent this became the focus of their games. The site has a quiet policy from 10pm and this was adhered to by the guests who came and swept the kids off to bed at 10pm, but to be honest this is way too late for family camping. I think maybe the Farm Park should consider a. their policy on group bookings b. extending their quiet hours to suit the family audience they claim to want to attract 3. develop some guidance about what is and isn't acceptable around other peoples tents (the Park do provide a recreation field). Afraid until this is in place we won't be returning....Read less.

Our chosen pit (P19) was clearly labeled and was next to the facilities block. The facilities block was spotless and a pleasure to use. By way of suggestions to improve the site would be to make the fence between pitch P19 and the facilities block a solid fence and possibly another toilet block towards the 'GLAMPS' as the site was full at the weekend and the existing block struggled to cope with the demand. This was our 3rd stay at Cotswold Farm Park campsite and as always throughly enjoyed it.

The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Like the addition of morning pastries and sit on tractors (although maybe don’t allow people to take them back to their pitches as this resulted in few being available when site was full).

Wash facilities were always clean and well stocked (toilet roll and soap). More than 1 step at the sinks would be useful and sometimes the showers were too hot for our toddler.

The lodge area is nice with some great touches, e.g. books and hot water bottles to borrow as well as games.

Pitches are a good size and well spaced out.

The farm park next door is also excellent and kept our toddler entertained for the duration of our stay.

We did go when it was slightly quieter so we was only sharing with one other tent, and did not really cross paths over the breakfast table. We had an excellent time and we very impressed with the standards of washrooms etc. The only issue was many other campers were using the glamping facilities including the fridge, bbq and kitchen area. They did leave it in a mess and it was thanks to other glampers including us that the kitchen was cleaned and equipment was washed. We feel the extra glamping price was a lot, especially considering it was a free for all and we did mention this to staff but people still continued to us the facilities. Showers are hot and free. You get a real feeling of spaciousness. There's a bit too much urbanization for my taste, being a lowly tent camper. I didn't enjoy being told "don't do it again" for going the wrong way around the one way system. And a group turned up who had a loud party in the first class glamping field. Great park. It was noisy during the early evening/morning over the weekend, however this was due to children having a good time. This is a good family campsite. The staff were friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. There is a very enjoyable nature walk from the campsite. There is a huge field for youngsters to do what youngsters want to do. There is also a field next to the campsite with goats, sheep, cows and miniature horses, very popular with youngsters and adults alike.

My only comment is that we had booked a pitch with no power. We did use spare pitch power supplies to charge phones etc. A USB only charge point might be handy for some people in a prominent location. There could be one, we did not inquire....Read less.

Without doubt this is the best campsite my husband and I have ever stayed at. From beginning to end the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities on site are second to none. The shower and toilet facilities were spotless at all times and included a fully functional disabled/family bathroom in both the male and female facilities together with baby bath/changing facilities in both blocks. It was also a nice change to have 'proper' hot water to wash the dirty dishes. So often we have been to sites where this was just not the case. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the beautiful Cotswolds made even better by the thought and attention to detail so obviously put into this campsite. We were extremely pleased with our stay at Cotswold farm. We were booked for three nights but stayed an extra day just to enjoy the space and sunsets. The weekends are busy with young families often with grandparents and the atmosphere reflects this, it was much quieter on weekdays. The pitches are a generous size and there is good access for walking and a large open field for dog walks, only off lead for those with good recall as animals are nearby.

The facilities were clean, the showers were a perfect temperature. As this is well water country every effort is made to conserve water so only short bursts of water but it was not a problem for us.

There is so much to recommend at this site from the friendly greeting on arrival, the knowledgeable and helpful staff and, sitting in the depths of Cotswold countryside, what more could one ask for! We saw a young hare on our first quiet night!

It was also our personal delight to find a very young grass snake whilst walking in nearby Guiting Power. They are harmless and so good to know they are surviving here.

My only observation would be to consider the dreaded speed humps to encourage the stipulated 5mph on site. With very young children running backwards and forwards to other tents to find aunties or grandparents I noted not all vehicles were as careful as they should be....Read less.

A brilliant family friendly site with something for everyone.

We stayed in a tent with a 2 and 4 year old and were made to feel welcome by everyone (staff and other campers/visitors).

The site facilities are probably the best we have come across in our 12 years of camping, flat, clean, light, safe, warm and they have thought of everything for families travelling with young children.

The staff were all lovely and welcoming and made us feel very 'at home'.

We stayed at this site so we could take the children to the Farm Park each day, it was absolutely perfect, a 2 minute walk (with little legs) and the children were riding little tractors and feeding goats, sheep, pigs, cows, chickens.

We enjoyed lunch in the reasonably priced cafe and then cooked tea by the tent. (Although we did enjoy the homemade pizza available to order in the campsite shop when we arrived...delicious!)

You won't be disappointed with your visit here....Read less.

I love this place the camping facilities and farm park are superb, but 1 member of staff spoilt my latest visit.

An over officious campsite worker needs to soften his approach towards customers for trivial matters. After pulling into the park and deciding to pull onto our pitch we booked, which is only 20 yards from the official arrival bay, the guy comes out of the office and tells me in a non welcoming fashion that I cannot park there. I replied that we have booked this pitch and that I was coming to the office to check in. He repeated that I cannot park on the pitch and that I must park in the arrival bay, to which I replied that we had booked on line and know we have booked this pitch. He wasn't happy and insisted I moved to the arrival bay. At this point I became agitated and moved my van the desired 20 yards to the parking bay.

Once in the office I informed the man that I was not happy with the manner in which he spoke to me and that I had always found the staff here accommodating and friendly, this did not go down well!

I understand rules are rules but this was such a trivial matter and we had on a previous occasion been told on arrival if I knew my pitch to pull up on it and check in when we were ready....Read less.

We had never stayed in a pod before as we have a nice tent but due to injury we could not cope with the tent and changed our booking to the pod. It had comfortable beds - not much headroom for the lower bunk, but manageable. It was very cosy with a heater and weatherproof zip doors. There was electric light and ample electric sockets for our chargers, coolbox and kettle . There was a roomy rubbish bin with bag provided and a picnic table and benches where we could use our stove and eat outdoors. There was also a small table and 2 folding chairs inside the porch but we brought our own camping chairs, much more comfortable. We had lovely weather but it would have been great even in bad weather, as we would have been warm and dry with somewhere to hang up wet wear. We thought it was very good value for money as the site facilities are superb - showers, toilets, wash up, gas barbecue, toaster, microwave all free and a coin-operated laundry. If we had been with a larger group we would have used the fire pit on one of the lovely evenings. We loved it all and are now thinking of selling our tent and camping in pods in future. The staff were lovely - so helpful, they even offered to help us with the tent when we thought we would have to cancel our booking. At the moment there is only one pod, on trial, but i am sure that more will be well used - an d maybe there will be at least one a bit nearer to the loos! We love the farm and animals and the on-site cafe and there were lots of places to visit during our 4 night stay and walks around or close to the site....Read less.

I really loved everything about the park, facilities and staff. I have no complaints at all about the stay.

However, as 2 campers with nothing but single tents, £50 was a very high price to pay for one nights stay when we were arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning. I do see that if we had required the electric hook up or the huge pitch size we had or stayed longer than just to sleep it would have been more worth it.

We only stayed because we had no other choice, because for our particular situation it was extortionate.

There was also the issue that the road signs in town pointed the wrong direction for people in foot, causing us to walk an extra couple of miles to what we needed to....Read less.

We enjoyed everything, the facilities were very clean and the surroundings were beautiful. I loved the friendly goats they have outside the farm and the wildlife walk was also nice. The staff was lovely.

However what I would not like was that to enter in the farm to see the animals we had to pay £14 each, which I think it is a bit expensive...considering that we had already paid for the 2 nights of stay... I thought it would have been nice to have a discount or just to enter for free! As we only went to this camping because of the farm/animal environment.

This is the first time we have camped at The Cotswold Far Park but it will not be the last. Having visited the Park before we had an idea on what activities were there, but had no idea how well they had developed the camp site. Having visited many sites over many years with our motorhome, I can honestly say this was one of the best. They have thought this through carefully and the facilities are second to non! There is even a gas BBQ provided, microwave and toaster etc, pizza delivery and well laid out pitches, many with full services. Best of all it is very family friendly, safe for kids, and with family rooms set aside in the ablutions. Highly recommended!...Read less.

We visited for 4 nights in May, and were so impressed that we have been back for 7 nights in June! The site is absolutely immaculate wherever you go. The showers are always comfortably warm, there is plenty of hot water, and they are so clean. We were on motorhome pitch on the row nearest to the facilities block. The pitches are a really good size, with a grass area at the side of each hardstanding, and are fully serviced. We hired a small car while we were there and there is no charge for having a car at the side of the motorhome. We have a large motorhome and as this is an area of very narrow roads, the little car just made sense. There is an activity field and wildlife walk. In the adjacent Rare Breeds Park there is so much for children to do and experience, and we were impressed by the facilities provided for them. The café on site, Adam's Kitchen, serves really excellent food and is not overly expensive.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable.

There is no public transport near the site because of its remote location, and some of the roads to places you may want to visit are only single track. The views around the area are stunning.

There is a rookery in the tall trees around the site and they can be a little noisy, but that was probably because they all had chicks when we were there. It was lovely to watch the parents teaching them to fly, and feeding them. We would recommend this site even if, like us, you don't have children with you on your holiday, as there is so much for everyone.

Overall, a well laid out, immaculate, modern beautiful site that we will visit many times again.
