Top camping. Clean and spaceful. Nice staf. Good prices.
Arrived and was greeted by a lovely receptionist. Driven to plot by lovely gentleman who helped get into correct spot and was very helpful with all the information. One of the more expensive sites we have stayed at but as it is secure and well kept it was worth it. Showers were heavenly and so clean! Only stayed 1 night in passing but will hopefully return again.
Absolutely lovely site, staff cannot do enough for you, I will definitely be returning
Enjoyed to stay there. The team is so helpful! I asked several times if they can explain me the way to edinburgh, they were so patient. Thank you!
I wanted to stay in a site accessible to Edinburgh, Drummohr was ideal being 10 mins on the train. The site itself was busy but quiet at night. The shower/toilet block was clean and plenty of hot water. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Would be lovely if a cafe was the next thing added to the site.
Very impressed with the new facilities ,showers etc, also kitchen for campers ,however I can’t say I liked piped music in shower block ,as a care worker my brain needs a bit of down time .Thanks to Angie and Staff always very welcoming .Also thanks to the Thrushes ,Blackbirds et al for a beautiful alarm call ,this was good for my spirits .Excellent location for The Lothians,Musselburgh and Edinburgh.Buses and Trains very reliable and clean.
Staff were amazing and very helpful especially Tom who went over and above, great value for money and bus stopJust a 10 minute walk away and every 10 minutes which took you to all surrounding areas, example EdinburghCity centre, the Zoo, Portobello and other various places, we will definately be going back.
Last summer we camped so we know this campsite well, this cold spring we glamped in a lovely clean warm bothy with a little kitchen, full size fridge and en-suite toilet. The bed was really comfy and there were towels and crockery and cutlery. This visit was all about seeing Edinburgh so we walked down to the bus stop and got the no 26 and asked for Princes Street. The campsite website provided all the information we needed. On the return journey, we missed our stop but the next one was only a few minutes walk away. There was a cool breeze so we took the small table indoors, sat on the easy chairs provided and had a picnic, there is plenty of space. We brought our folding chairs for outside and our own gas BBQ, there is covered outside space, but we could have used the built in benches as seats rather than as a table! Overall, this was excellent value for money, en-suite toilet, car parking, easy and cheap transport to Edinburgh at a fraction of the cost of staying in town.
This was our 4th time staying at Drummohr. The pitches, facilities and everything overall was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The site is close to the city and the bus station is just a few minutes walk away. The Pod was clean and spacious.
All you would want or need in a touring site. Superb facilities, services & pitches, staff efficient, friendly, informative & once sited leave you to enjoy your stay. An added bonus is the proximity of the bus & rail services allowing for easy visits to Edinburgh & North Berwick. The local nature reserve is well worth a visit included in a walk to Musselburgh.Up there with the best sites we have visited.
