We only stayed one night but the first impressions were of a clean tidy reception and site with friendly and helpful staff. The ONLY reason we have marked it down slightly is because of the shower heads which spray water everywhere except on you! Also you have to keep pressing the knob every 10 seconds or so to keep it going. Toilet / shower block like the rest of the site is immaculate however these shower heads need replacing. Although we didn't experience it - it seems there is a fish and chip van on a Friday and there were a couple of 'food / coffee' vans on site which seem a really good idea OR there is a pub just yards down the road....Read less.

Very impressed with the site appearance and layout, just approaching the entrance gave a feeling of a well presented site. Stayed 3 nights during week, which was quite, getting busier to the weekend. Suited us, not to large and not to small. Ventured out to local pub 5 minutes into village, although we thought a bit expensive the food and local beer was excellent, definitely recommend it, called the black horse. Watch your head on the low beam entering gents, ouch. Shower and ablutions block was spot on, unfortunately the shower water was just look warm, reported to the very nice lady at reception (Susie) who thanked me for making her aware and that she will get it looked into. Used the indoor pool on site for an hour, steam room and sauna, worth that we bit extra to pay. I have left the review at 5star albeit the showers were a disappointment, I felt overall the site and management attention to detail warranted the rating....Read less.

It’s a really fab site & the facilities are excellent however the only criticism is the showers, they spray out very finely & it’s almost impossible to rinse your hair. They stop every few minutes which is even more frustrating. They don’t feel hot because of the spray.

Building work is going on next door making way for million pound houses & the noise in a morning is not what you came on holiday for. However this is not the camp sites fault. 5* site, warm and welcoming managers and staff. There was a large group of us across 4 pitches, this was well managed and any questions we had were fully supported. The facilities are fantastic especially the private hire of the pool. The kids throughly enjoyed themselves. The shower block was immaculate and campers showed their respect by maintaining the cleanliness after using.

Overall we had an amazing experience, a little bit of sanctuary in a very busy world.

What a cracking site this is. The staff were very accommodating right from check in to leaving. The facilities were second to none. I doubt you'll find a cleaner shower black anywhere. We didn't use the swimming pool or gym but its good to know they are available to use (bring your swimming costume) The local pub just a short stroll from the site is very good & food was lovely. We drove to the Oxford Park and Ride (15mins) and spent the day in Oxford city which was great.

The site is well run, well kept and friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately the showers are not up to the standard you would expect for such a good site and the daily charge.

The showers operate on a push button system to help save water. Whilst I support every opportunity to save water, the system is flawed. Some showers take too long to warm up thus wasting water. Some don’t drain away properly therefore leaving the occupant standing in cold water. In the men’s showers the spray was so fine you couldn’t wash the soap off easily, another shower the push button didn’t operate properly. The shelf for putting shampoos in was too far away from the shower.

The staff are aware of the issues and I hope they get the issues sorted before we consider coming back....Read less.

The actual shower unit was NOT a 5 * which the site is rated. The water was cool, had to press the control button every 7seconds Was told shower was set at 40 degrees because of children on the site. But it is not 40 degrees by the time it hits the body.I don’t understand why it is only 40 degrees when the hot water in the private wash areas are so hot you can’t put your hand in the water. The trees and shrubs made for wonderful surroundings combined with the birdsong.

Not so welcoming was the constant sound of barking dogs from a number of pitches- no doubt music to their owner's ears but intrusive to those who wanted a peaceful stay.

Site is very conveniently situated with a good pub only five minutes walk away and a rural bus service to Whitney etc.

The shower and loo facilities were commendably spotless but having a decent shower was impossible due to showerheads being almost blocked combined with pushbutton valves which allowed 3 seconds of flow (literally). Water-saving, yes - but what's the point if one can't have a shower?...Read less.

Upon arrival we were met by a very friendly lady on reception. We were soon on our pitch and able to settle in very quickly.

This was the first holiday of 2024, and although still quite cold we were able to enjoy some lovely walks along the river Thames. There are a couple of lovely pubs in walking distance and the whole area is really pretty.

We love this jewel in the Oxfordshire countryside. The site was busy but there was still a warm welcome. We love the bus stop right outside with services to Oxford via Witney and to Abingdon. The site was pretty with all the blossom out and it was lovely to hear the birds. It is a very tidy site and showers and toilets are kept very clean.

The reason why we have not given the site a 5 is because of the dish wash area. For £42 a night we expected a bit more (last year paid £27). The hot water pressure is quite low and as there is just a roof and it was quite blowy the water didn't stay hot for long. The shower block is lovely but the water pressure there wasn't great either even when the only one in there, and the water was not that warm.

That said, the site and staff are so nice that, yes, we would go back despite that....Read less.

The staff were so lovely but the pool, changing room and locker facilities were poor and expensive.

The small curtain door to the women’s changing room was not private at all, and with only two cubicles, it was not big enough for the four families trying to use it. The lockers were very old with a rusted key and no attached safety pin, so we had to leave the tiny keys wrapped in our towel which made it unrelaxing! I kept worrying it would get lost, then I’d be stranded there without my clothes and towel when needed.

Steam room and sauna were nowhere near hot enough, with large water droplets constantly landing on my head from above in the steam room. The pool temp was cold and it was too small to do lengths when sharing with three families with small children. We did consider hiring it privately but in all honesty it was of too poor of quality to pay £40 to do so. Not a good experience. My 21 year old daughter left after only five minutes, as so unimpressed....Read less.

We found the campsite staff helpful, friendly and the campsite is clean and tidy with access to a swimming pool (extra charge) However the reason we would not return, the pitches are extremely difficult to access, with very little turning space, caravans without a motor mover would really find it difficult. With regards to the fresh water fill up area for a motorhome, it is positioned on the back of the toilet block, which is in the flow of traffic entering the site, when we arrived it was extremely busy and it would be impossible to fill our tank without causing a major back up of cars, caravans and motorhome. Lastly the motorhome waste point is very small and located near the reception. It was impossible for us to drain our tank in the area provided....Read less.

First time away in a caravan for us and we were very pleased we chose Lincoln Park. Lovely clean amenities and great staff. Nice little shop for essentials and games room for little ones also indoor heated pool. Good coffee and cake van on site every morning and lovely fish and chip van on site on Friday evenings. Travelled in rain, arrived to glorious sunshine. Pitch 50 was in a great location for toilets, washing up, laundry etc. this pitch was under a large Willow tree so even though we had rain in the night it felt like it was all night as water coming off branches. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and their shop holds lots of stock just in case you forget an essential or there is a small post office in the village. There is a pool and gym on site for a fee. This is quite expensive for families and could possibly be included in the per night cost or a free

I decided to book Lincoln farm park over Easter as Easter was early this year and I was thinking about the possibility of wet weather.

All pitches are hard standing so you don’t get muddy vans or awnings.

The site is extremely well kept, lovely warm shower and toilet area, although I would say the only down side was the push button shower only staying on for 2 seconds in one cubicle ( by the time I had turned round to wet my hair it had stopped)

Nice walks, good play area with a further local play area just down the road.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Black Horse pub.

Our two children (6 and 8) loved the play park, the games room and the swimming pool. The site felt very safe. We had a lovely spacious pitch with a picnic bench. The facilities were very clean, although the showers could do with being a bit warmer.

We had fish and chips on the Friday night from the van, they were delicious.

We visited Oxford on the park and the ride, the children loved the natural history museum.

There is a pub just outside the campsite plus some nice local walks/bike rides to the lakes.

There is a nice indoor swimming pool , sauna etc which is open for a couple of hours a day. 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. This has an extra cost but it's nice if it is quiet in there!

One word describes Lincoln Farm Park "OUTSTANDING".

From start to finish our stay was fantastic from the spotless heated shower & toilet block, the facilities, launderette, pot washing, recycling points, to our large fully services pitch with our own picnic table ( weather did not allow us to use this), the immaculately kept grounds and I loved the "adult Wendy house" as I called it with information on places to visit nearby and a small selection of board games to entertain families.

We never used the swimming pool, gym or games room with a few arcade machines and pool table but they looked good.

All the staff we came into contact with were polite, helpful, friendly and were happy to chat to us.

There is a bus stop right outside so getting into Whitney and Oxford was very easy.

The location of the park is in a lovely wee village surrounded by peace and quiet.

Value for money a big YES, you pay for quality and you get that here.

We will be back.

The site is very well landscaped. It has adequate size pitches and the picnic tables a bonus. The site wasn't full so ok for us, but I can imagine during busy times, it would feel quite cramped, (just our opinion). We set up on fully serviced pitch. First problem, waste water drain completely blocked up with gravel. Needed a new mesh over the top. As far as I'm concerned, pitch should of been prepped/checked prior to our arrival and the drain cleared. The facility block was clean, warm, well laid out and although we didn't use them there is fridge-freezer and microwave, nice touch. The showers are not adjustable, neither direction or temperature. This made only two out of five in the mens any good and one of them, the basin hot tap had no water from it and the other one, the basin hot tap had to be pulled up to stop the water flow. One of the toilets had a poor flush and another had the door top hinge coming away. Maintenance!!

Lincoln Farm Park is a very neat well kept site with spacious fully serviced pitches, albeit some of the others did look a bit tight. It’s right in the village and has some good dog walks around it, although the one on site is very small, just a passage really and you have to keep dogs on lead.

We had a Sunday lunch at the local pub (just outside the gates to the park) which was excellent.

Easy access to Oxford via car and park and ride service and Blenheim Palace was close too.

My wife used the pool which she said was good but only open for fairly short hours but that may be the time of year we went.

Overall a great stay. The site generally is beautifully maintained, staff are friendly & helpful and facilities are very good. Well situated for Oxford, but avoid taxis which cost £45 each way!

Slight down side were the showers. I appreciate you are supporting David Bellamy, but some showers only gave you 10 seconds so constantly pressing. Also the spray is very fine so needs to be kept unblocked to prevent spray going everywhere which was the case in many and led to a poor shower experience.

it provides a lot of privacy, giving the feeling of personal space to each unit

To visit Oxford there is a Motorhome section on the Redbridge Park& Ride but note you need to buy a parking permit first then bus tickets.

Lovely staff, pretty site which is well maintained. However, the disabled shower is not fit for purpose. It has a push button that you need to keep pushing to get the water to flow. How is a disabled person expected to keep pushing a button in order to have a wash! When the water does eventually start coming through, it is warm, not hot. The sink is too small to be able to clean your teeth in. My husband also told me the men's showers were very poor, too. Again, push the button, warm at best. The flow of water coming out the fixed shower head spurts in all different directions and the flow of water is poor. He tried to shave in the sink, but the water kept going down the plug hole even though the plug was in. In some sinks, the hot water tap didn't even work. My friend told that similarly the ladies showers were very poor. Again push button, she said the flow of water from the fixed head spurted in all different directions, and it was impossible to wash her hair....Read less.

Lincoln Farm Park is a lovely site with good amenities. We asked to be sited with our friends and appreciated that this was done. We loved the peace and quiet and the bird song. We also appreciated having a bus stop right outside the site.

Perhaps two negatives .... the shower water was only lukewarm in the afternoon. Also the grey water emptying service point for motorhomes was inadequate... it is too small and the cover too heavy for some people. It would be better if it was an open. grid.

Toilet blocks are spotless, sadly spoiled by poor shower controls and cool water. The push button control lasts for only 7 seconds…. Not enough time for hair rinsing, body wash etc., constantly have to hold the button down is not good enough. Water never got to a reasonable temperature.

The “dog walk” is awful… a long dark corridor (circa 5’ wide ) dwarfed by tall trees on one side and a new very high timber fence line on the other. Dogs did not like being there.

Spacious site with excellent facilities. Ideally situated for a weekend with our granddaughter after picking her up from school. Fish & chip Friday, a pub nearby and a bus stop (to Whitney) across the road are a bonus. The 'private' swimming pool sessions are great, although significant extra cost.

Stayed at Lincoln Farm Park for 4 nights in March 24. We were really impressed with the standard of the campsite and amenities, it was absolutely immaculate. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is very picturesque. The village pub(the black horse) is lovely. There are local bus stops just outside the site so exploring the area was easy, you can also go further afield (Abingdon Oxford etc) on the national buses. However the local buses don't run on Sundays. The site has a lovely leisure facility with 2 swimming pools, Jacuzzi, gym etc etc...

If I had to find fault with the site it was the showers. They are automatic cut off type, but only stay on for a few seconds. I understand this is to save water but it is difficult to shower if the shower is only running for 5 seconds. I also thought the leisure facilities were a bit expensive. I understand it would have given us full us of all the facilities but I only wanted to use the pool....Read less.
