We have visited Lincoln Park for the last couple of years and the grounds are always immaculate and the staff extremely friendly and facilities clean

It is disappointing that the large pool is still out of action and this has now been for two seasons

This was our first visit to Lincoln Park and I’m sure not our last. Something that struck me as soon as we arrived was the lack of a “Lincoln Farm Park” sign at the entrance from high street. The approach is a narrow road with lots of vehicles parked and we did not spot the entrance at first and had to turn around, not ideal if you are towing. The site is really well laid out and maintained to an excellent standard. Facilities are excellent, however as disabled users we thought that the accessible shower room was in need of modernisation. We returned to Lincoln Farm Camp Site after 30years, and it's now on the top of our favourites list. What a gem. Close to all the places you would have on your to do list in the Cotswolds.

The flat pitches are perfectly layed out, and amenities spotless.

We loved the lighting that had been placed under and around the high trees that framed the site, that created a great atmosphere.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful alongside a well stocked shop.

The local pup, only 5mins walk serves good food and we would thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed for three nights in late September and with a slight exception, thoroughly enjoyed it. The exception being that our pitch (no 51) was beneath the willow trees, thus in shade all day whilst our friends were in the sun. Perhaps our fault as when booking when asked if there was a preference, said closest to the loo block.

The staff were really nice, friendly and efficient. The site immaculate and a lovely bonus was the converted horsebox selling coffees, teas and snacks opposite reception, all served by a very friendly lady. Reception stocked some good and interesting goodies but we did think the honey was overpriced! We didn’t take advantage of the swimming pool but have no reason to believe it would not be to the same standard....Read less.

What a beautiful imaculate site. All staff were so helpful and very friendly and welcoming. We chose this site as our son leaves close by and even cane and camped with us for the long weekend. Lots to do around we visited Bourton on the water stunning village and the Cotswold Country Park which all the children and adults enjoyed.

Absolutely fantastic from the minute we arrived. Staff genuinely friendly, caring, kind, helpful, funny & all round lovely people.

Everything explained to us at reception, found our pitch and it was just perfect. Such a beautiful well kept, well maintained and perfectly positioned.

Stayed for the second time here 16-22september. We like this site as a great base for exploring the local area.its immaculately kept , the staff are welcoming and helpful. The pub around the corner serves pretty decent food , we also visited the Rose revived a few miles down the road on the Thames.

It was a lovely weekend getaway. Very lucky with the weather and did the gorgeous walk over to the riverside pub. The site was well kept and very clean. The shop was well stocked, and reception very friendly and helpful. It was off peak so some of the toilets were closed, which was a little frustrating when I ended up having to wait for a vacant loo that had paper 😬. I survived, and we will definitely return. This is a quality and secure site. The toilet and shower facilities are second to none.

Some moans, the site didn't make it clear that the swimming pool is NOT included

in your pitch fee's and is an additional £5 per person. Which wouldn't be too bad

if you got to swim in the pool shown on the web site. This one is actually closed and

the second indoor pool is not very big and has no jacuzzi (not worth £5).

Also during our visit, none of the arcade games worked.

Don't let the above put you off, still a great site with a lovely off road walk to the

Rose Revived pub 1.5 miles away. Well worth a meal....Read less.

Just one criticism, we arrived after a 4 hour journey at 12 midday.

I know check in is at 1pm,but our pitch and the one next to it was empty.

I asked if we could possibly go get set up,to which I was told no you have to wait till 1pm.

I returned after sitting in the car at 12.50 ,can I go on my pitch now ?

No you have to wait till 1pm,rather petty 🙄

On speaking to some other people on site,they were allowed on the day before at 12pm.

The site is clean, tidy and Shower block near pitch also the washing up & chemical disposal. rubbish bins also near & clearly marked.

The staff very friendly & helpful.

Shower * Toilet block cleaned regularly.

We caught bus from outside site to next stop & walked along the river then came back and had a drink in the Rose Revival pub.

Bus stop back not sighned but just stood opposite side 8f the road to marked stop.

We visited The Farmers Dog pub not far away by car.

We had an evening meal at The Black Horse Pub & A Sunday Roast.

It's a few minutes walk from the site and was very welcoming & great food.

Lincoln Farm Park was a great secure site and location to stay for a couple of nights as a base to explore the Cotswolds on motorbikes. Nice to get back and have use of the pool and sauna after a days ride in the saddle.

Would have preferred to camp on the grass rather than gravel pitches although came prepared so not too bad. More set up for tourers and vans. Pub 2mins walk is great although suggest you book tables in advance as gets very busy....Read less.

Great campsite, one of the best we have stayed in. I did think the ladies was a little dated and cold looking but they were clean. I did use the disabled facilities as I had not long had a knee replacement operation and there were no rails to hold onto in the ladies so this was useful for me. This was only okay, the shower curtain very clingy and its very dark in there, the one light above is not enough. It all looked like it needed a good scrub everywhere with Cif! It was a shame to charge extra for the swimming pool, this is not evident when booking and I felt £5 per person very expensive having paid for the camp site fees hence my overall rating of 4* not 5*. That being said its a lovely lovely site and we would return. The pub nearby is excellent too....Read less.

Wonderful welcome. Well maintained grounds, plenty of facilities that are well kept. Chatty and helpful staff.

Nicely laid out rather than regimented.

No need for a bar as the pub is two mins walk away and a regular bus service just outside.

Only noise was from the next door building site and the occassional RAF planes. Otherwise peaceful.

We loved the facilities and the size of the site. The pitches are a little tight but once we were in, all was good. Liked the table and seats on each pitch and the fact the washing up areas are around the site so very close. Liked the fridge/freezer availability too.

Made very welcome on arrival and shown to our pitch. Staff exceptionally helpful and extremely pleasant. Site well maintained, clean and tidy. Toilet block/showers also very clean. In no particular order, this place is: spotlessly clean and well cared for, has all the things you need and more, well thought out by way of what is where, peaceful and quiet even when booked to capacity, wonderful kind and caring staff, onsite shop with essentials, food trucks that visit sometimes, fantastic play area for kids (I went alone so didn’t need this but I saw it while walking), important areas lit enough for visual cues but the rest is lovely and dark at night, staff will try to go the extra mile for you if you need it, options for later check out for a fee if the space is available, gaming room from reception, lovely swimming pool:...Read less.

On first arriving the staff we so friendly and welcoming explaining the facilities! Every pitch was spotless and spacious. The toilet facilities also spotless and clean easily accessible to every pitch.

The site had its own pool and sauna which was booked in reception for £5 each for just under the hour. This was great every morning to start the day really felt like I was holiday.

The staff so kind and friendly nothing was too much for them. It was our 35th wedding anniversary. Once we had our swim and was ready to leave we were handed a card from the team for our anniversary. The staff really do go above and beyond.

The Blackhorse pub was within walking distance and very nice. Burford and Witney were 20 drive away both lovely place to visit.

For our anniversary we went to Bourton On The Water that was 30 minutes drive away. We booked a meal at the Mousetrap Inn and it was superb. We will definitely be back to Lincoln farm park as it was central the whole of Cotswolds towns....Read less.

However, this year we finally did go back and were pleasantly surprised that the standards we first encountered then were exactly the same today. We have stayed here many times over the last 25 years and would recommend this site to everyone the staff have changed but the service and quality of amenities hasn't.

Fish and chip van came on Friday night and the food was excellent.

The only downside this visit was that the main pool was closed and the other one is not really big enough with maximum of ten people having said that it did not spoil the visit and look forward to our next break away.

Access is a little tight and if someone is setting up there is no room to get passed so little patience is needed....Read less.

Campsite is lovely, clean tidy well kept pitches and the shower block amazing. Only problem we had was being next to the walkway between both sides of the site and there was a very large group of several tents and caravans spread out across the site which meant the kids were left running around shouting and screaming between the two sides meaning my dogs were constantly unsettled. The large group got together each night at one of the caravans and played very loud music until 1030 while singing and talking quite loudly. Admittedly they turned it off at the designated 1030 time but would then still talk loudly while packing up and moving across to their own spaces so therefore were loud past curfew. I am all for kids playing outside and for people having fun but there was no consideration of others and as we had gone for a chilled quiet weekend it meant we didn’t sleep well and the dogs couldn’t settle as they usually would. Whilst the campsite is immaculate with large pitches, unfortunately it was let down by false claims on their website.

It clearly states 2 pools and a games room for children.

Our 10 year children were very dissapointed thst the 2nd pool was closed and in the games room, most of the games were out of order.

Looking back at previous reviews, it was noted in Aoril (4 months earlier than our visit), the 2nd pool wasn't operational.

The staff were super super friendly, the shop was the best stocked campsite shop i have seen, on Friday we had fish and chips from the on site van and on Saturday pizza. Right next to the site there is a pub with delicious food and drink, facilities are spotless and there is an indoor pool for the kids and a great play area. If in the area this place is a must! The Standlake mosaic walk also takes you to 2 more pubs in Newbridge, an easy country foot path walk safe for kids too!...Read less.

We stayed here as a last minute booking and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The one thing we didn't consider about The Cotswolds is how you have to drive to everything when compared to a seaside site. But with that being said we did everything you can think of within a 45 minute drive - canoeing at the Maybush Pub about 5 minutes away (sign on site for Del Rio Adventures), Cotswolds Park Farm, Farmers Dog, Diddly Squat, Daylesford Organic.

The site itself was very clean and beautifully kept, amazing play area, great onsite shop with all your camping (as in plugs, wires, guy ropes etc) and the essentials you need in terms of F&B. Our battery in the caravan went kaput one night and a member of staff kindly helped us disconnect it as we're real novices!

Second visit to this lovely site. Booking was easy, staff were very friendly and accommodating. I requested 2 pitches next to each other for a motorhome and one for a large tent. We had 45 & 45a which were perfect. 45a had a tree which provided very much needed shade and a fresh water tap. We were close to the facilities.

Our pitches were spacious and spotless, with plenty of space to play racquet games and frisbee.

The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean. I particularly liked having a wash basin and mirror in the shower cubicle.

We were hoping to have pizza Saturday evening but by the time we went to order they had run out of bases. To avoid disappointment you should get there nice and early.

The staff are visible and spend lots of time cleaning and doing the gardening. I like that they do several walk rounds during the day just to check everything is ok.

The location is great, walkable pub in the village and lots of places to visit plus nice walks from the site....Read less.

Welcoming wardens on arrival, we booked serviced pitch which was hard standing. Facilities clean, pub within 5 minute walk, bus stop outside site to Witney or Oxford. Indoor pool and mini gym at extra cost bookable at reception. Small dog walk area, lovely walks from site. Small shop and games room at reception or post office convenience store a short walk away. Great relaxing site would recommend. There are food vans and a coffee shop van at entrance. I’d recommend the fish and chips from the van on a Friday! Best we’ve ever had!...Read less.

We visited with a large group (family) and camped in tents and a camper. Really friendly welcome, the shop is well stocked (the local eggs are amazing). The main pool was closed throughout the summer and we couldn't get a next day booking for the small pool which was a shame. However, there are lots to do in the area. 20 mins from Burford, lots of running trails and a mosaic art trail nearby. The facilities are clean and well looked after. Not much space for the kids to play in (no wider field) but that didn't stop the children from having fun....Read less.

Staff friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with our caravan on arrival, reported it to reception, Ben came to check the pitch electrics, not our mistake with hook up, but blown fuse in our caravan. Very helpful information that a local company could help, we made a call and the lovely Jacob arrived within 15 mins. He pinpointed the problem that required a new part which he duly ordered there and then. He came back two days later fitted the part and all was well. This did not affect our stay and we were able to cope and thank you to everyone who helped. Our allocated pitch was perfect and we were happy just to chill and enjoy the lovely weather. This was our 2nd stay at Lincoln Farm Park, but absolutely won’t be our last. The whole park is spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. Staff can’t do enough to help out. We went with family and friends and asked for pitches close to eachother, which they gave us. The swimming pool was a huge hit again with the grandchildren, and just the right water temperature. We visited the local pub ( only a 5 minute walk away) for a meal, and it was excellent…. staff very friendly and food very tasty with not a long wait. The food wagons on site were excellent as well. We will definitely be returning again to Lincoln Farm in the very near future ….. excellent stay once again....Read less.

The site itself is pretty and the facilities are clean, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The ground was so rock-hard that even heavy-duty gravel pegs couldn't safely secure our tent, campers simply shouldn't be expected to pitch on ground like that.

However, the main issue was the staff. Moments after arriving, members of our group were shouted and screamed at because a dog lead was slightly too long and a car wasn't parked on the right side of the pitch while still unloading. Children were left crying, and instead of an apology, we were villainised and banned from the facilities. The wardens and manager banded together to bully our group in what was a bizarre, extremely childish display. People like this have no business working with customers and completely ruin the feel of the campsite, I’ve never seen such petty behaviour. Basically if you’re a family who wants to camp and have fun this isn’t for you, it’s extremely strict. I wouldn’t recommend this site...Read less.

The park itself is very well kept, with clean toilets, showers and a lovely swimming pool which our children loved. Unfortunately, Vicky and her husband completely ruined our stay.

On the first day, our dog was on a lead but briefly went onto the pavement. We immediately apologised and agreed to use a shorter lead. Instead, they became aggressive and confrontational, shouting at us in front of our children. When we asked them not to shout in front of the children, we were told “I don't care.” Our children were left crying and extremely upset.

Other campers witnessed this and approached us afterwards, shocked by what they had seen.

Later, Vicky shouted and screamed at me in the shop, refused to serve me and continued shouting as I left. I remained calm throughout. There is CCTV in the shop.

We also heard wardens shouting at other families.

The park has positives, but the behaviour of these staff members completely overshadowed them. We would never return....Read less.

We had a great weekend at Lincoln Farm Park with the grandkids. The facilities were spotless, the staff were really helpful and friendly and the grandkids loved the pool.

I was a little confused and disappointed that I had forgotten my driveaway attachment for my awning and was told that unless it was attached to my vehicle I would be charged, even though it didn't take up any more space., but I guess those are the rules.

LP is a lovely, well-maintained park with a friendly atmosphere all round. There are plenty of water points, service points and toilets, with lots of showers, sinks and facilities, so there is never really an issue.

Some of the all-service pitches don’t allow you to park your car alongside the pitch, which I feel should be possible for an all-service pitch. On our pitch, there was plenty of space, and the bench could easily have been moved back by a couple of metres to create parking space. A larger number of pitches should be arranged this way across the park. Not having the car next to you is inconvenient, as you inevitably leave things in it.

Navigation around parts of the site while towing can also be a little tight. This is partly due to cars not being able to park on some pitches, meaning they have to be parked in areas that can make some of the tighter sections more difficult to navigate, particularly where pitches are close together.

Arrived at pitch was on pitch 23 in back corner.

On my way to the toilets I watch my neighbours trip over cobble stones which were shielded by street light.

On the way back from the showers which were exceptionally poor I did exactly the same and had a bad fall open wound on knee and elbow.

Phoned reception to cancel the swimming due to accident was advised they could move to another day as I had paid for in advance.

A gentleman called to see where I had fell and put a yellow reflective strip on the cobbles to prevent anyone else falling.

When we went to reception to ask for our pool money back they refused as the said they had offered me another day.

I think it is unbelievable they want someone to enter a swimming pool with open wounds for cross infection..

There has obviously been no pool training for staff in the subject.

I do understand this subject as I used to teach it.

They were more interested in keeping £10 than asking about my welfare....Read less.

The site was honestly so neat and clean. The garden areas were clearly well maintained and the facilities were SO clean. Amazing really considering how busy the site was. We had a fantastic time here. We chose this location as it was half way between us on the south coast and friends in the midlands. The site was easy to find, clean, well organised and the facilities were great. The staff were friendly and the pool was amazing. It was never too busy or overcrowded, the shop stocked the essentials needed, the food vans were great and our children loved the playgorund and making new friends. The only negative I can think of is that a lot of the games in the games room werr out of order, but as the kids loved being outside, this wasnt an issue for us.
