We stayed for a full week early July, The site was lovely, had large, flat, well maintained grass pitches. The site was within walking distance to the beach (down hill) and to the city of St David's. The first morning after we'd arrived, at 4.30 am we were awoken to what appeared to be a scene from 'The Birds'. There were loads of crows around. Not so bad after the first night though. The shop had plenty of produce with fresh croissants and bread baked every morning.

If you are have difficulty in walking or just don't want to, there is a shuttle bus that takes you to the beach at whitesands or into town that stops wherever you flag it down. Alternatively, just stand at the entrance of the site and it will pick you up.

The weather was spectacular and we had a wonderful week holiday, all campers were very respectful of their neighbours. I'm not so sure what the pitches would be like during poor weather though because they are all grass - no hard standing.

The only downside for me was that I was looking forward to Pizza Night on Sunday only to find out that this doesn't start until 20th July.
