We enjoyed our stay in August. The site is clean and well run. Staff are helpful and friendly and the shop is reasonable both in range and prices. There is a good playground for kids and an animal farm area.

Our grandchildren had a great time making friends and playing in the large grassy areas in front of the tents and caravans which meant they were usually in sight.

I was not too impressed with the narrow access and lack of clear signage for caravans arriving. Caravan and motorhome access should be directed in from the West, past the Caravan and Motorhome Club site, not up the very narrow access road as directed by the brown signs. Then large signs are needed to direct arriving caravans into the appropriate area on the approaches not just at the field entrance. The existing sign is totally inadequate and easily missed. It would also help greatly if special instructions for caravan arrivals was included in the information sent when booking. Also the toilet block on the camping and caravan field could do with being larger but it was always clean. We were surprised that paper and cardboard did not seem to bring recycled - we could only see places for glass tins an plastic bottles.

That said, please don't let my criticisms put anyone off. The site is very good and in a lovely position with great views and lots of walks and nearby beaches. St. Davids is a little gem too! We will definitely be back.
