We stayed in August 2018 so peak time for families to go. However you wouldn't of thought this as the park didn't seem overcrowded at all. We stayed in the camping pods which were for 2 adults and up to 2 children. I stayed with my child and a small dog and it was perfect. It has a carpet, an electric socket, a light ( not the brightest but we brought our own bedside lamp as well) and a heater which worked really well to keep you warm into the night. In my opinion if is that you have two children aged 8 and above you would need the family pods that are slightly larger. A big plus is the newly renovated shower block- WOW! It make glamping complete! The childrens park is just behind the pods and the park itself is 8 minutes walk to Pooley Bridge

This is a friendly park and everyone respects the rules of 10 a.m quiet time till the morning. Which you do appreacite when having walked miles aech day with smaller children. An overall positive experaince which I would return too again next year. Thanks again Hillcroft.
