My husband and I stayed here with our dog for a long weekend. The facilities were good and the tent pitching field a gteat size and not over crowded. Facilities were also good if quite a walk away from the tent field (perhaps pre-warn people that you have to pay £1 for the showers). Handy local co-op to stock up on things. We came in school holidays which was the let down. Noise, music, screaming etc went on until nearly midnight and disrespectful families left litter laying around. There was woodland behind us and we had motorbikes roaring around in it at night too. We also tried to walk our dog in the surrounding area and this was also heavily littered with unkept footpaths which actually felt a little unsafe. Nearby is Dale Abbey which is beautiful and worth a visit. Just not the place for us but im sure its lovely for families.
