At first glance it is a very nice park, the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the longer we were there, the more issues arise.

They seem to be expanding their site and the woodland that was being cleared was being burnt. Smoke and ash was everywhere. No chance for is to sit outside/let our son play out. Thankfully this was only the case for the first day.

Unfortunately as the smoke smell cleared, it was replaced by a faint sewage smell. We were at the top of the park. As we walked down to the bottom where the children's play area is, the smell became more intensive. We had been told by staff that the local woods had a good walk through for exploring. Unfortunately, the entrance to the woods seemed to be where the smell was worse.

What wasn't made clear at booking (although it is on the website if you read it in full) is there is a £1/10min charge for the showers. Guess what you can smell in the showers? Not nice when you're meant to be clean! And if you don't want to pay, or have a little one to wash down, the sinks don't have plug in so you can't fill them up.

Finally, the ladies toilets ran out of soap in both dispensers. I informed staff. 2 hours later, still empty. The following day...10mins after being cleaned...still empty.

Looks pretty, smells dirty.
