Nestling up at the top of Chestnut Hill, the site provides for some fantastic views across Derwentwater and Catbells. We walked into Keswick, about 20 minutes all downhill (note it is the opposite coming back), using both the main road via manor brow, and the footpath that runs past the Hotel next door. The pitches for motorhomes/caravans are a good size and pretty flat. All the amenities are clean and tidy. There is a decent shop on site and the hotel next door has a bar that is open from 6.00pm.
