With a pang of nostalgia we returned this May holiday to Lleithyr Farm. Our eldest daughter had learnt to walk here 5 years earlier. Then we were camping, and now we've upgraded to a tourer. Site was just as good as we remembered.

Staff very helpful and friendly, pitch in great condition, atmosphere lovely, other visitors friendly and chatty - all very relaxing. On site shop is great with the fresh crossaint and bread a real touch of continental luxury. Pizza night on Sunday and Wednesday also a nice touch.

Kids (now 6 and 3) loved the play area and the farm animals. The beach is brilliant, (I'm a surfer) and is a 20 minute walk or very quick drive. Not the most consistent spot, but has it's moments.

Beautiful setting and will definitely be returning.

Only gripe, and i'm digging deep, is 20p on the showers? Its not a cheap site and we've stayed on fully serviced pitches for less so this seems a bit much - its not the cost per se, just the hassle.
