We stayed in the pods with two other families, with children from a range of ages. The facilities in the pods were fine (once we'd located the light switch and electrical sockets hidden under the shelf!) and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet block. As we were staying at peak time (weekend in the summer holiday), we couldn't eat at the pub on site because it was fully booked. It would have been helpful if the staff could have made a recommendation about where else we might eat, but nevertheless we found a great pub 5 minutes away (Grantley Arms) that had a really good children's menu. Although there was a shop on site that sold useful bits and pieces, it didn't open until 9am, which meant we had to be more organised and prepared in terms of breakfast.
